The actress who plays the firefighter, Lee Si-young, trained for a boxing role for a show which didn't get commissioned, but she fell in love with boxing and became an amateur boxer, winning a number of tournaments. She also does a lot of mountain hiking, and recently returning from hiking the Himalayas. In contrast, her TikToks are comedy gold.

The actor who plays the brother and the leader is so good and was also in the glory and other fabulous dramas. The performances in this series is amazing. Summer's reaction/commentary is always a welcomed gift of adorableness. Another great reaction by Syntell and Summer!

Even though they've revealed at this point that the monsterization isn't caused by an infection, Summer keeps focusing on things like bites because she's seen so many zombie films/shows/etc. that she expects it to spread like an infection anyways. It's probably easier to get past that mental block if you visualize it like this... They're *all* already infected. It's just a question of whether something *triggers* that infection or not.

wonder if they'll recognize huisoo's actress in the next episode. thought they'd get it right away since they watched Moving together recently but lol they thought she was the firefighter.

In a previous ep, the firefighter was sent out by the leader to check out a part of the building. He saw that there was a monster there, but they needed to scout that area (i forgot why, sorry). While there, firefighter was caught by the spider. I think she managed to escape by stripping inside the cocoon and leaving her clothes there, hence her nakedness 😅 the older lady figured she was preggy because she got nauseous trying food when it was okay.
Moving on, the monsterization is triggered by human desire specifically. The example (this isn't explained in the series, just in the webtoon, so not a spoiler!) is the monster outside. He was wearing a typical Korean hospital outfit, because he was a chronic hospital patient that needed constant blood transfusions. The monster he became is a blood sucker (which is how he killed the people he's killed so far, by sucking all their blood), because his desire is to get blood for his treatment. I don't know how the series writers are going to explain the monsterization process, but in the webtoon, it didn't have to do with sin. Just how desperately people wanted things, superficial they may be or not 👀
Oh, and I think in a bts video, they showed that the nosebleeds were done by using a tube kind of like nasal cannulas for oxygen! It's really gross but effective 😅

They talked a lot tbh. They don't put too much attention to details, instead keep laughing with anything they found funny for them. They focus more on how disgusted they are with the monster but not with the storyline. I mean yes, im comparing their reactions to Achara (cinetofu) channel of sweethome to here but im not sorry lol.

If you give in in your deep desires, it'll make you a monster. Like the first lady in first episode, she became a hungry monster. Then, the huge monster who's obsessed with protein, he became huge and covered in muscles.
They won't turn into monsters if they're bitten, it's not zombie like things. It's about deep desires.
Eun-yu, the teenage girl with attitude don't give a da*n with boys in this show. But she cares for hyun-soo and her brother, she just shows it in different way.

oooooh~ Some of the people in this drama Heesoo and Naju(hair salon) who appeared in the k-drama 'MOVING'. In this drama, Naju is a person who always holds a dog, and Hee-soo comes out as a caregiver

Lot of people couldn’t recognize Naju here. Here face feature to me is quite recognizable tbh even as extra actors.

She has a crazy fit body because she's a boxer, she took up the sport late in life due to a role, but stuck with it.

My theory about the curse turning those into what they most desire/wish for has always been the thought that it’s about what they lack, feel insecure about, or long for most. Some characters who become monsters we have prior knowledge of so we can generally gather what they desired most but other monsters we know nothing about prior to their monsterization. I believe the eye monster may have been a blind man when he was human who desired the ability to see OR they were nosy and watched everyone around them wanting to know all their business. The protein monster may have been a man who lacked muscle and strength who wanted to be strong and unstoppable. Or he was a gym bro. We also know there are monsters that don’t harm people (like our main protagonist) like the woman who lost her baby. She longed for her child, wanting nothing more than to have her back and we see that in the scene where she “sees” the baby as protein monster attacks her and the children. Even as she turns into a monster, her only concern is protecting the children. Keeping them safe. Also the neighbor who ate her cat was complaining prior to her transformation that she was starving and was tired of barely eating anything. I won’t speak further so I don’t spoil anything but if you really pay attention to the monsters you can kind of guess what they desired most based on what they turn into. The monsters who don’t harm people also seem to keep their humanity intact.

Personally I think the eye thing was likely a stalker or peeper honestly. Possibly just nosy or something like it but given it keeps looking in people's windows specifically (in the original webcomic it first shows up peeking in his window at night) I feel like it was a creep

15:55 It doesn't have to be a sin in the terms of the 7 deadly sins just a truly strong desire to start the process and what completes the transformation into the monster was revealed in the last episode. The internal demon speaks to you, entices you and attempts to manipulate you into accepting it and revealing that strong desire allowing it to take control.

Are you guys going to react to Death's Game? I really think you guys would like it and would love all of the big KDrama star cameos in it. It's about a main character who's body changes because the devil is punishing him

I was surprised they didn't recognise her 😅 i was so excited to see them watch this episode coz of that, but they didn't notice? Or they cut it out? Hahaha she does have a different feel here, though, and Syntell and Summer are still getting used to the ensemble of characters.

I think it's safe to say that they are a little bit face-blind. They are struggling to even recognise the same characters in a different scene sometimes. It's alright, it happens.

I'm not gonna lie, I'd be a anti-hero type at base like the Punisher. However, I'd give people a chance to be better and monster humans to prove they are not bad in the way Captain America would. If that fails I'd beat that butt like Daredevil and after giving three chances then I'd go Punisher with it. Also I'm good at learning things when people show me how to do it so I'd probably be assisting other people with things important for group survival. Like exploring the area, searching for supplies, preparing things for use, building things, etc.
I think good desire is what makes you able to not turn or become a weapon against the other monsters. Selfish desires are what make you a monster like the Sliced-Head and PROTEIN monsters.
The mother of the daughter that was missing is not wrong about her daughter being dead because he didn't let her look for her sooner. That's why I would've let her leave when she first wanted to. Now the mother is going to be a problem to the other survivors.
How the hell did that thing in the basement fit into a ventilation duct? I guess the firefighter lady wasn't already infected in the vent scene in the trailer. I guess she is just really fit and in good shape. The trailer made her lower back look weird, but she probably just worked out a lot.
I was expecting the main character to land on is feet from that fall, guess that happens in a different scene and what the hell was it that attacked him.
The rooftop girl is a bit crazy herself and crazy knows crazy that's why she was eyeing the creepy guy in the hallway. I don't like her at all every since the first episode she showed glimpses of being an A-hole in every episode. Only an A-hole would hide that they could be infected and be around others to possibly put them in danger. I'd have locked myself in my apartment and set something up so that if I changed and moved too far without disarming the tripwire I'm done for. Just like in an undead scenario I'd tie myself to a tree after I've been bitten in an area that I can't cut off. Then have grenades on me so when I changed and got up the grenades would blow me to pieces so I wouldn't hurt anyone. I don't think she really cares about anyone but herself.
That manager guy has some nerve trying to threaten someone that has monster powers. I would've told him "If I'm a monster do you really want to get on my bad side. I could break your arm before you knew what happened, so get that thing out of my face or I'll break your hand." I'm having none of that guy's chicken-crap trying to act tough BS. Then his chicken butt turns around and starts planning to kill someone. I'm so glad that A-hole got what was coming to him. Like they say "You reap what you sow" and it couldn't have happened to a more deserving person.🤣
That creepy dude doesn't need to become a monster and learn how to control it because he is straight up to no good. I hope the main character doesn't tell him because that sneaky A-hole manager is listening. They should've taken him out after he had the nosebleed and fainted.
    Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌ out.
***SPOILER*** (Only this episode; No Future Stuff)
I had a feeling that the firefighter lady might be pregnant when she didn't eat the food because it seemed like she was resisting nausea.
Also what is the stroller lady evolving into in the bathroom. I really want to watch the next episode to find out. I wonder if she's going to become the one in the end credits with feather wings or the branch looking things. I was thinking that the main character was going to get the wings though.

Also I will never give any spoiler for episodes you haven't watched. I just finished both seasons and I'm commenting on what is happening in the episodes as I'm watching them. Then type it into a file so I can copy and paste the comment for each episode. That way I never comment on anything other than that episode for each comment. @@cinemamosaic
