Fight Storm I don't know how this guy did it but the way I handle something like this is first practice enough on other songs that you can play without thinking too hard about the individual notes. In other words, you turn off part of your brain and just let the notes flow straight to your fingers without first passing through the part of your brain that says "I should press X now". For a song this fast I spasm my fingers. I don't mean I just tap really fast (even though that's what it looks like). I put hand into... basically a controlled seizure. In order to be able to do this I have to somewhat open up and keep my hand mostly flat as I move it up and down. Doing it this way is like sprinting for your hands so it tires your hand quickly. Tapping the buttons to the rhythm you hear instead of only looking at the screen is also a must. So there is a little thinking that goes on despite what I said in the first paragraph. It's just a that your whole brain is focused on the song and not on stuff like internal speech/thoughts.

Fight Storm I don't know how this guy did it but the way I handle something like this is first practice enough on other songs that you can play without thinking too hard about the individual notes. In other words, you turn off part of your brain and just let the notes flow straight to your fingers without first passing through the part of your brain that says "I should press X now".
For a song this fast I spasm my fingers. I don't mean I just tap really fast (even though that's what it looks like). I put hand into... basically a controlled seizure. In order to be able to do this I have to somewhat open up and keep my hand mostly flat as I move it up and down. Doing it this way is like sprinting for your hands so it tires your hand quickly.
Tapping the buttons to the rhythm you hear instead of only looking at the screen is also a must. So there is a little thinking that goes on despite what I said in the first paragraph. It's just a that your whole brain is focused on the song and not on stuff like internal speech/thoughts.
