I've rediscovered The Munros after a few years (covid forced a reluctant break!), your excellent videos have given me the incentive I needed to get back out again! Thank you!
Hi Gavin, Glad you enjoy watching our outings and terrific you're getting out and about again. Hopefully, we'll get a few opportunties through this winter. Cheers
Anisdale, my ex and mother to my 2 beautiful children loved this place, And for any residents who knew molly who lived in the village, Sad to announce her granddaughter Stephanie (my ex) passed away yesterday after a 2 year battle with stage 4 cancer. Steph loved this place so much that we named our firstborn son, who sadly didn't make it, Beinn. We came up in 2009 and stayed in the old post office in Corran. I can understand why she loved this place, It's absolutely beautiful ❤️
Another cracking video gents, thank you. Wonderful views from the summit which I hope to get next week as I am in Glen Garry and Glen Shiel and Beinn Sgritheall is on my list. Good to see I will not be needing ice axe and crampons. Thank you again for sharing the video.
Great video of a very enjoyable hike, Charlie. The views are so stunning. After watching one of your former Beinn Sgritheall videos we did this hike in 2018. A good decision to take the same route back as the loop is so muddy and wet. Thanks for sharing, Charlie 🙏.
Hi Wolfgang, I know you have enjoyed this top, it's a cracker. Your right, I've done various routes to this top and I always prefer to retrace the steps 👍 Cheers, Charlie
Hi Murchies, Yes, you would have no problems getting a camping spot here and a tremendous viewpoint that's for sure. Just finished watching your An Teallach experience... great stuff, well done. It's fine that it cleared as the day went on so you didn't miss any of this majestic mountain. Cheers, Charlie
@@charliemccartney7055 Thanks Charlie 😁🏕🥾⛰👌🏻…An Teallach is such a beautiful mountain mate ..I love it 😍..Cheers for watching 😁👍 Sgrithgeall is defo in my sites for a summer camp..With some wind to keep the midges away 😂
Thanks for another great video. I managed this hill many years ago at New Year, when the short narrow ridge was a knife edge of soft snow. We had the company of a Golden Eagle who circled round us for over half an hour on the pull to summit. Perhaps it thought that one of us might keel over and provide a carrion supper.
Hi DickusCopernicus, What a great experience you had on this cracking top and I could imagine that bit of the ridge would be interesting in a good winter. We also had a similar golden eagle encounter on Slioch where it appeared to be curious of us at the summit cairn. Memorial days... Cheers, Charlie
Great video Charlie, I first did this back in the early 90's a day just like you had. A fantastic viewpoint 👌 We did the loop round and down through the trees you mentioned on that occasion. Thanks for sharing your day, ATB Alistair 👍
Hi Alistair, The views are tremendous as you will know. I've completed a few different routes to this top but now prefer the one shown. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers, Charlie
Hi guys the 1st time I watched you was on this Hill And we went to stay in Glenelg with intentions of climbing it. Well I never made it due too an injury which is still affecting me. But I still have your videos to watch which keeps me sane thanks guys and keep going your amazing.
Hi Paul, That's a pity you didn't get the opportunity on Beinn Sgritheall but glad you enjoyed a rerun of a previous visit. Take care... Cheers, Charlie
Hi zunkwind, I like it..🤣 Once you get the legs hill fit its a bugger trying to keep them which doesn't get easier as the years roll on but the fight goes on 👍 Cheers, Charlie
Such a stunning viewpoint and well captured Charlie. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your next video. Hope to get a couple of days in Knoydart this summer.
Hi David, We're also planning a walk into Knoydart but probably won't be before the midge is in full flight. We can only hope for a breeze then as they are horrendous 🤣 Cheers, Charlie
Hi Ian, It is certainly a steep ascent but the views are worth the effort. The boat into Knoydart is a terrific way to approach the hills and a bit of a contrast to the walk along Loch Hourn. Cheers, Charlie
Great stuff. Last time I was up there it was in near 30 degree heat, but it's a sensational viewpoint. So many don't seem to care for the drive over the pass, but on a nice morning it's an enjoyable experience, though keeping your eyes on the road is tricky. One of my favourite hills. Thanks for this guy's. 👍
Splendid indeed! Visibility fantastic and the light was beautiful. Looked a bit chilly though. It’s not a part of the country I know well so it’s great to see it in its glory. The west coast really is something. Thanks again. Best wishes Murdo
Hi Murdo, The combination of mountains coming straight out of the sea is just magic and offer views that are spectacular. There is generally short walk ins for these west coast tops which gets you you up to temperature quite quickly 🤣Cheers, Charlie
Hi Mike, Hi Charlie, many thanks again for sharing your day. Wow, what views. I don't know about you but I think I could live in Arnisdale. There can't be many more villages in the country with a setting like it has. Cheers Dave
Enjoyable video, Charlie, this hill offers some great views of Knoydart. Not been to Arnisdale for some years. Might take a look myself again soon as the morning views from the lower slopes might yield some worthwhile compositions.
Another cracker Charlie & Mike.👍 what a fantastic area and like you said an easier one for Mike to stand on top of the trig point🤣🤣 Views were absolutely stunning and well edited again Charlie.👍 I did Slioch yesterday with equally beautiful views. Nice one again Charlie, ATB Frank.👍🏔🏴
Hi Frank, Glad you had a good day for Slioch as you certainly wouldn't want to miss the views. I'll look forward to the upload. A wee bit more cloud yesterday than expected but no complaints as Beinn Sgritheall gave us another super viewing platform. Cheers, Charlie
Hoping to do the Knoydart hills from Kinloch hourn , have this one to do as well , its a bit out of the way as there isnt anything in the area that i could tag on , only got two hills in Kintail so i might combine that for a couple of days away , great scenery up there and good views to the islands🖕
Hi 45ltr, Yes, its isolated from other tops so needs the trip round to get onto it. Well worth the effort 👍 Have a good one when you get around to it. Cheers, Charlie
I have a couple of questions. How long does it take you to reach the top and is the path always (reasonably) visible? You did the whole thing in 4.5 hours but ... I'm not you :D
Hi JS, I would guess you could on the top in 2-3hrs assuming you have average capability. Every step is up from the start until you get onto the first top and it's not so bad after that. A good path will take you all the way... definitely a walk for settled weather as the views are spectacular. Have a cracker when you get around to it. Cheers
Another great video. Really enjoyed watching, some lovely views and well filmed. Thanks again, really appreciated.
Hi Lesbeldon, Glad you enjoyed our latest outing to this stunning area. Thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers, Charlie

Hi Keith, We were fortunate with another super weather window in the stunning area. Many thanks... Cheers, Charlie
Lovely. Great views down over Arnisdale.
Hi Andy, Its always been one of the classic views and hard to beat when the light is magical. Cheers, Charlie
Beautiful place. Have been up a couple of times in the winter.
Hi Ruth, Well done, now that would be a splendid playground in winter I'm sure. Cheers, Charlie
Really enjoyed that Charlie 😍👍..Love your Vlogs..Really fancy this one..Great views and plenty of camp spots😁🥾🏕.

Impressive hill..we went directly up the scree slope from the loch in 1990...scary near the top.. nicely filmed, steady hand 👌
Hi Andrew, We've come down the scree before but never up.... now that's one of the quickest decent we've ever done 🤣 Cheers, Charlie
Stunning location 👌
Hello, Glad you enjoyed this outing. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers, Charlie
Can you imagine trying to walk with these 2? They absolutely pelt across the hills, I'd be dying 😂
Hi zunkwind, I like it..🤣 Once you get the legs hill fit its a bugger trying to keep them which doesn't get easier as the years roll on but the fight goes on 👍 Cheers, Charlie
Hard not to make a great video with those stunning views Charlie 🏔️🏔️🏔️ some beautiful footage 😻 another cracker 👌 atb Brian 👍
Hi Brian, Your spot on the scenery makes the task easy. Just a magic area with the mixed of mountains and sea. Cheers, Charlie
Brilliant, as always. Hope when I get to it the views are as good…
Hi Alistair, Its certainly a top you need to have clear as the views are even better in person than captured by the camera. Cheers, Charlie
Looked like another good day out Charlie the views over to Knoydart and out to sea were brilliant . Ally
Hi Ally, Yes, we had a cracking day. The views are tremendous even after walking a short distance. It's all up but well worth the effort. Cheers
Such a stunning viewpoint and well captured Charlie. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your next video. Hope to get a couple of days in Knoydart this summer.

Superb views from this one Charlie! Still on the to do list and hopefully get those sea views and blue skies like you did 👍👍👍
Hi Paul, You'll enjoy this one once to get around to it. Not a big walk but tremendous views out to sea and into Knoydart. Cheers, Charlie
Fantastic hill Charlie, found it steep tho, once got a small boat from Arnisdale to the Knoydart hills saved a long walk in perfect,Ian Dundee 😊
Hi Ian, It is certainly a steep ascent but the views are worth the effort. The boat into Knoydart is a terrific way to approach the hills and a bit of a contrast to the walk along Loch Hourn. Cheers, Charlie
Nice.. In my opinion one of the finest views from the Munros is from Sgritheall's summit. 👌
Hi Richard, I would agree, it's a fine 360' viewpoint. Cheers, Charlie
Great video
Hi Paul, Glad you enjoyed our latest outing to this stunning area. Many thanks... Cheers, Charlie
superb :)
Hi majornova, Yes, it was a cracking day. A wee bit more cloud than expected but certainly no complaints for this outing. Cheers, Charlie
Fabulous video as usual Charlie. The views are magnificent!
Hi trapper, Really glad you enjoyed our latest outing. Many thanks. Cheers, Charlie
Another fine day chaps. No been up there yet. I'll have a wee swatch of this again when I do. 👍

Enjoyable video, Charlie, this hill offers some great views of Knoydart. Not been to Arnisdale for some years. Might take a look myself again soon as the morning views from the lower slopes might yield some worthwhile compositions.
