This is not only a useful review, but it's also quite humourous, meaning it's not the typical boring, get to the point/overly detailed review, it's fun, it conveys what it needs to, and it does give the viewer an idea of what the thing is like and helps them make a decision.

I think PI GLB200 is better with 2nd row ac vents
Ticks a lot of boxes. Main problem is that C&C decided not to spec it with second row air vents ! That's a puzzling omission and hard to accept in a 7 seater costing close to $190k. Am not sure electric tailgate or electric seats for the driver is more important than second row air vents for a car of this nature.

The problem is the skyhigh COE..G is too greedy in the name of control..
The journalists at sgcarmart can afford every europe makes that they review. Commoners like me can only afford honda
IMO, Kia Sorento win hands down for anyone looking for 7 seater. Even a Japanese 5 seater Subaru Forester and Toyota New Rave 4 or KoreanNewly Released Tuscon seemed more spacious on the rear than this. Unless one is in need of a badge.

The current price should be 193k.. many areas lacking in such an expensive car... i would rather get a vellfire hybrid which is abt 10k cheaper...

That car is like a lunchbox
Exterior and interior is spot on. BUT no 2nd row aircon in Singapore's climate is a big fail, immediately indicating that you are driving a "budget car" from Mercedes. These days even a 80k car comes with rear aircon vents! Also, dislike DCT transmission be it in a Merc or any car for that matter. Having a DCT is another give away that it's a budget car for the mediocre rich. Real good transmission are embedded in likes such as the GLC/E/S and even C class with a proper smooth sailing, torque converters. Nonetheless, good try.
Such a huge car but without rear A/C vent?

The Sorento trashes it for what it offers at its price point . And the Sorento feels premium.
P.S You would think that a rear vent would be an obvious default spec considering there are 3 rows .

How is the GLB200 with 7 seats be a compact SUV??? Are his facts right?
I own a E200 2013 model. The quality is sucked. A lot of plastic pipes. Wind screen leaks water, petrol container underneath the back seat crack and leak petrol, whole car full of petrol smell, loudspeakers rim form spoilt, car ceiling fabric drop down, engine belt spolit, radiator water container plastic pipe cracked, and many problems. Every now and then, need to visit workshop for repair. Worst still, the air-con fresh air inlet is automatically open after driving for a short while even though you close it at the start. Even you close it, it will open again. When you start engine, the air-con fresh air inlet is default to open, you have to close it whenever you starts to drive. If the inlet is left open, it will draw in humid air and form water in the air-con compartment, and moisture causes mold developed and bacteria grows, and resulting in Hong Kong foot smell when you start the engine and air-con. Conclusion, never buy Mercedes car, you will regret because of the poor built quality and bad air-con smell due to fresh air inlet default and auto to open.
