Houston has around 6 or 7 Value Villages. I had just searched the internet and found one close to me. I went there this week and they had everything half off. I didn’t know it until I checked out. The cashier says they all do it on different weeks. Yes it was half off all week. Boy was it busy. I plan to visit the other locations because the one near me had mostly clothes and I didn’t see any furniture. I AM GLAD YOU SHARED YOUR VV with us.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Good morning! Your grocery haul prices are crazy. Some videos popped up on my feed of people in despair over the prices for rent and groceries. They were mostly from Canada and UK. The US is pretty bad also. So sad to see. I hope the prices stop rising soon. Love your thrift haul. I have a thing for flower pots also that I don't need. I grocery shopped during the week. Separated my goods. A package of fake crab. Hard goods, cream, canned beans, salsa, yogurt etc…came to 74 dollars. Fruits and veggies, 35 dollars. For two people. It is very hard to stretch the dollar now.
Food looked lushus as always, now I have a craving for bacon which is on my diet! Im gonna make a beef roast with carrots, broccoli, bacon, mushrooms and cauliflower, yummy! Been drinkin tea all day. I like that pot its cute!❤ How do you make your brussel sprouts???
I cleaned up my yard today. A few of the flowers are getting "leggy". Yours still look nice and full. I brought some basil in to dry. I have a slow leak in one of my back tires. My car will be inspected this week so I'll likely get a new one. So frustrating.
No, mine is starting to turn to slowly, but surely, but we’re in for some good weather, so I probably have another couple weeks. Yes, it’s very frustrating. Anything to do with cars because it cost so much
Food looks delicious as always. I love pasta but used to hate to make it because I'd dirty up so many pans--one for the pasta, one for the sauce, one for sausage, veggies and so forth and then mix it altogether in a big bowl. You taught me to do the sauce, sausage and veggies all in one pan and then just add the pasta when it's done. So simple and easy that way and I swear it tastes better. Never too old to learn!
@@mamabrooke Brooke, we are still triple digits for the foreseeable future and no rain at all in the forecast. So much of my garden is dead, as is my grass even though I water every other day and sometimes every day. Just can't keep up with the heat. Thank you for asking.

Prices are terrible down en here in the states, too! I just saw chuck steak for 7.99 a pound. I was paying 2.99 on sale three years ago. This is getting ridiculous!!
I ended up replacing all my plastic food containers with thrifted glass ones as all mine turned color from tomato sauce and I could never get them “clean”. Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep the plastic ones from turning color?
No that happened to me too, so now I don’t do that kind of stuff or curries or anything like that .I use glass also ,and some plastic Glasses better for us anyway. 🍃🩷
I make pizzas out of them. I put scrambled eggs and peppers. I do all kinds of different things with them…It’s just not flour it’s chickpeas flour instead of the flour , just better for gut health.
They always have them there but sometimes the lids aren’t good. I know Costco sells a move set they fit inside each other. My friend Rose has them. I think I’m going it get them next time I’m at Costco.

I ended up replacing all my plastic food containers with thrifted glass ones as all mine turned color from tomato sauce and I could never get them “clean”. Does anyone have suggestions on how to keep the plastic ones from turning color?
No that happened to me too, so now I don’t do that kind of stuff or curries or anything like that .I use glass also ,and some plastic

What do you put in your Roti wrap?
I make pizzas out of them. I put scrambled eggs and peppers. I do all kinds of different things with them…It’s just not flour it’s chickpeas flour instead of the flour , just better for gut health.

They always have them there but sometimes the lids aren’t good. I know Costco sells a move set they fit inside each other.
My friend Rose has them. I think I’m going it get them next time I’m at Costco.
