- Whitehaven Beach was an absolute DREAM! Ocean Rafting was a wonderful tour, and snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef was stunning as always. Overall a pretty top notch day, if you ask me!

Your right the bathing suite makes you a total Baywatch babe. The underwater footage is insane! I smile under water all the time during diving and yes, you will get water in your mask because of it. Pro tip for anyone with longer hair: wear a headband to keep your hair out of your mask.

I did the 3 day tour last april after the cyclone. It ruined my experience and the tour could have been oragnised better. The tide was In for us. Didnt quite get those broacher pictures. Was a lovely experience. But not everything lined up.

Tingting Watson - Definitely not. The is Island is a massive no fly zone (due to the nearby airports) and is highly illegal.
thanks Tom, how come they can fly drone in WhitSundays? do they have a special pilot license?
Tingting Watson - I can almost guarantee that they don’t have permission to fly there at all. Unfortunately lots of tourists don’t abide by the flight rules - Footage like this is often flagged by CASA and fines are issued. Flying drones in popular flight path areas like this is very reckless and potentially dangerous.

It is pretty salty but tbh I do it cuz it looks about 10 times better on video 😂 It's not painful or anything though so I don't mind.
