Peru - Colca Canyon - 2018 - Drone 4K

Thirteenth country in my world tour 2017/2018. Video 4K with a drone Phantom Dji 4 and Samsung Galaxy S8 in Peru - Colca Canyon - May 2018
The Colca Canyon closed to Arequipa is a wonderfull hiking. You don't need a guide to do this trek. Each path are on the free application maps.me. (You just have to download the country map before).
You have 3 possible hiking:
Cabanaconde - San Juan - Oasis de Sangalle _ Cabanaconde: 20km / 2000m positive altitude
Cabanaconde - Lhahuar - Oasis de Sangalle - Cabanaconde: 24,5 km / 2300m positive altitude
Cabanaconde - San Juan - Lhahuar - Cabanaconde.
The first two hiking, you go at the bottom of the Canyon and go up after.
The last hiking, you do the loop of the Canyon. (A little bit easier)
I did two times the trek in the Canyon.
First one in May 2017, second one in May 2018.
The first part on the hiking is really different. To Go to San Juan, you have a better view on the Canyon. The walk is easier. You cross different plantation.
To go to Lhahuar, the hiking is harder but you finish your day in hot springs. And After 6 hours of walk, it's so nice to have some rest.
I advise also to go to Oasis de Sangalle. You have a lot of swimming pool in the lodge and you can admire the full view from the bottom of the Canyon
You do this trek in 3 days / 2 nights. It's not mandatory to book in advance your lodge. You can see when you arrive at the place.
From Arequipa, you take a bus around 3am to go until the Canyon. You visit some also some nice place.
Take some Cash in Arequipa because there are not some cash Machine. The Dollar is possible at the Oasis de Sangalle.
