This game has INSANE potential, it has alot of depth to it and how complex and mind boggling it mess with you, and with the amount of places you can explore and i like you got all recruitable characters, joel, hellen, danny and leigh. One thing the dev should add is when your home, your party members are doing their own things instead of standing around, like danny and leigh be talking about games and movies, joel drawing with crayons and hellen is sharping a knife or something, something to add more depth to the characters. Also the party members should have more depths to their overall characters, like you can fine hellen and dannys apartments, having party talks and conversations to help lighten the mood

I should just put all my comments in one comment; -Will be interesting to see if in a later update the Rat Baby will have an actual viable aspect to it beyond an item with flavor text. Maybe something like keeping it long enough could make it grow into another party member to make up for the loss of an arm or function as a close range/long range weapon depending on what you sacrifice. -The shade entity is interesting. It's "friendly" but it's concept of "befriending" or "letting you escape" is via eternal torture. An aspect of the "event" or perhaps something opposite it? it honestly seems to have difficulty understanding human things but is drawn to the main character. It's interesting that it hangs around your apartment. Maybe it's intended to be another party member later on? -Shutterbug is oddly adorable. I wonder if there is a way to see what he is and not have him run away... -Most of the things that you encounter genuinely WANT to be friends, they often just look freaky or are suffering.
My theory about the Shade Entity is that it doesnt know about the Eternal Torture part of becoming one with it, perhaps he doesnt really know what happens after he 'Dismantles' someone, only that their pain and sorrow dissapears along with them

This game is very intriguing, I can’t wait until it’s truly finished so we can get the gist as to whatever the HELL is going on. Not to mention how does this infection work? Some turn after getting bit, or scratched, while others just simply looked outside. The infection gets to some people in a strange way too, that’s why this game intrigues me a lot, so much crazy stuff happens just by unfortunate circumstances due to the outside environment seeping in.
Some incredible body horror in this - love the monster designs, especially the tooth monsters. They remind me a bit of Darkest Dungeon 2's Plague Eaters.
Its very interesting how some people have managed to resist the disastrous mental effects The Visitor has on an observer, usually by going the same route Jasper did; seeing The Visitor through a filter/obstruction of some sort. I'm honestly expecting Jasper to be completely crazy, and just pretending to be sane. I expect him to be the final boss, successfully communing with The Visitor in the hopes of either restoring Sybil (who he loved, methinks) or, failing that... become like her, so they can be together again. A shame, to be sure, but that's the impression I'm getting from him. Unless some sort of cure/reversal is discovered, then the Survivors are wholly outnumbered by the Witnesses, so reclaiming the world even after The Visitor leaves is going to be an uphill battle. Honestly, perfect opportunity for a sequel. If reversal IS possible, then that could make it worth sparing certain enemies, like the Baby-Teeth family. I'm sure Joel would appreciate it, at least.
I really hope reversal is possible. I like happy endings, and it would reward you for going the harder route of sparing folks. What was once saddening eventually becomes frustrating, before eventually suffering a slow, painful mind-death due to apathy. If there isn't anything I can do to improve the situation, then what reason do I have to *aspire* to do that? It would be interesting if the dev went the route of "locking" the Happy Ending behind meta-knowledge. That is to say: things you learned ONLY by playing the game to completion THE FIRST TIME. The game is great, specially for the RPG Maker, but the combat system needs works. It's too simplistic. Add some status effects to make it more strategic. Thrown weapons should have their own menu, to encourage use and declutter the Item menu. And btw, since monsters need to approach before attacking, maybe they should only be targeted with trown or ranged weapons. There's no point in adding items to a game if you don't encourage their use. And maybe some monsters charge a powerful attack for a turn, to encourage players to use Guard.
