Thank you for your video we will be following you really appreciate your details we just picked up a 2019 Corvette yesterday with 3800 miles we are going to enjoy it we are hitting retirement or I’m a retired firefighter with no pension my wife is going to retire in about 3 years thank God for her she makes good money but your video is great detailed clean to the point very helpful have a great day my God bless you.
You would probably kick me if you saw the underneath of my car.... I don't spend to much time cleaning there. BTW we have so much ice on the ground, I just can't believe you could drive your VetteS in January! Beautiful machine that Admiral.... beau-ty-full! Man!
I went with ACS splash guards on the front. Slightly wider flare, and they fasten using the bolts in the fender lining. ACS does a good job of keeping pebbles out of the rocker panel (after removing the stock guard I found a quantity of pebbles in the rocker panels...I have 3/8 mile of gravel to get to the highway)
Wow that's a lot of stone. On the rear passenger side I did find a lot of pebbles inside the bumper cover, really not much on the drivers side for some weird reason. Enjoy you car man! -Glen
Heavy breathing :) I do see some that put the plastic film on the rocker just behind the wheels too . After time it goes yellow and noticeable but we take our corvettes down gravel roads up here . Ok their all gravel roads but the film saves the paint sometimes. Cheers and remember happiness is not around the corner, it is the corner.
After completing two days of Ron Fellows race school I agree about happiness corner! I'm not a big fan of clear wrap for several reasons, yellowing is just one of them.
Very nicely done video with great detail! Having those splash shields looks good and will give you that added protection. This job looked so easy I believe I could do it! Have a good one Glen! :)
Visually the difference could easily be missed ( which is a good thing) but the protection they provide will be priceless. I didn't buy a Corvette because my arthritic knees wouldn't let me out. 😊
Just a heads up... For those of us who drive 2019 Stingrays, there are only 3 bolts in the rear on each side and it's the far most inside bolt for each. They do look sweet though! Thanks for another good video!
Great video thanks brother. I wouldn't worry about the little bit of dirt you had there. I don't own one can't afford to or the insurance on one. Last one I was in I had a hard time getting back out of it. I think I will stick with my pickup. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother
They make mud flaps for the C6 as well. They are hardly noticeable but they make a big difference. I have 30K miles on it now and no rock pecks behind the wheels.
great video. the area was dirty under the rear of the car I covered in self stick clear shelving plastic. I do the whole of both sides and remove it when car is put up on stands for the winter. the material is cheap, easy on and off and keeps stone chips off paint.
The chrome trucker girl flaps aren't a bad choice either. The 'tang' is best discussed by Ted Nugent, Wang Dang. I'm just an amateur human sexuality expert. lmao
That was crazy with that credit card scammer at the end ... I try to mess with them too . Unfortunately there’s some real pieces of crap in this world.
Good deal Glen! After seeing your vid after driving school with all the donuts. I said to myself, self that is one bad mamma jamma Glen has got. When are you going to ever get something nice? And self didn't reply to me. So left to my own devices, i knew right away i had champagne taste and a beer budget. So i ended up getting as close to a corvette as i possibly could. Poor ol numbnutz thinks its a corvette, poor man's vette, Pontiac solstice lmao it's my poor man's vette.
The point is no matter what brand of car or price is that you enjoy driving it and looking at it. Anyone I know with a Solstice really likes it. Have fun!

Enjoy your new toy and thanks for your service.
Nicely done. Not only functional but It gave it a cool look.
I was surprised the splash guards would 'blend' in. I actually like the look as well.
That's a nice addition to the Vette and will protect that valuable paint job. Have a great weekend Glen
Thanks LLoyd, have a good one.

Yeah man so far it hasn't been to cold and just rain. I took the '93 out for a spin today. I'm glad I went with Admiral Blue too! Stay warm man!

Thanks for the info. One less bolt saves GM a fortune.
No problem . Gotta love GM thinking... Btw.. I can't tell you how many times your tutorials have helped me when I had my C4. Many thanks.

Very subtle yet effective... nice!

That's a great idea to keep everything just perfect.
You saw me outside the liquor store and you didn't say "Hi"! Geeez ;)
Bought ya a beer, don't you remember? lol
Good video Glen. Where is your 1/4” battery powered ratchet. lol looks good.
Thanks. For only removing two screws it wasn't worth the energy to get the 3/8" electric ratchet out but to be honest I thought about it. haha
Thank you for this video, just what I was looking for. Enjoy the 10" in the rear. LOL
😄
What is the item number or stock number or whatever for Amazon for these mudflaps I see that on your motorcycle are like $80 a set
Link is pinned in the top comment and in the video description.
i didn't realize you could get gravel rash at starbucks lol
Yeah it's true and a lot of Passat owners have also reported the same issue. 😄😄
Ozzstar maybe we Tdi Jetta owners don’t hang out with them 😂😂😂😂
get off my tail yosemite sam "get off my tail" mud flaps work way better and look way cooler. Just sayin... Can you tell us more about the tang?

You're welcome Anthony. Easy job!
It would definitely take the guy in North Carolina longer than 20 minutes to do that job.
Probably something to do with the water quality in Charlotte. 😊
