  • I get a lot of misguided reasons why pet owners don't want to neuter their dogs so here are a bunch of reasons for or against neutering your dog.

I also heard that not neutering until after maturity lessens bone health issues like hip dysplasia? I was trying to wait but my 8 month old guy is trying to fight my 9 year old kid for dominance so we are hoping neutering will calm him down. I had a dog who lived to 14 and had hip issues for many of those years and it really made me want to try to keep him intact for his health but I CANNOT have him acting up thinking he can boss my kid around. Not safe for any of us.

we havent found any link to hip dysplasia and neutering dogs at 6 months old...it sounds like neutering your pup immediately would be best for all involved, including him.

It won't. You have a behavioral problem. That dog needs more training. Behavioral issues are all the owner's fault.

@LittleImpaler found out he had a genetic epileptic disorder but please go on and tell me how his brain disorder was my fault 😂

@@KawiLover250 Didn't know your dog had brain disorder. But neturering your dog won't fix behavioral issues. If you're dog has aggression problem, you either you allow it to happen, or you went to a bad breeder.

I adopted a rescue chihuahua at 3 months old back in 2013 weighing 2.16 lbs. She was already spayed. She’s had numerous joint problems, where I literally have to pop her tiny kneecap into place so she can walk correctly. Her spine is hunched up a bit, too. It doesn’t hurt her. But 2 years ago, she had surgery on her neck to reattach ligaments and joints back to her neck bone with bonding and screws so she could walk again. She was completely paralyzed. Over the years running, jumping around making it become detached. One night she started screaming in pain and I rushed her to the 24 hour walk in vet. She will be 13 on November 11. She’s fine and can walk because the surgery was successful and he did an excellent job. He told me she was spayed too young and her growing hormones were stopped when she was spayed, causing all her joint problems. I love her so much. Shes always eaten a homemade diet.

I am against neutering your dogs or any animals. The homones are so important for the dog's health. My great dane female isn’t neuter. I am not going to neuter her ever. If you wouldn't neuter your kids, why do it to your dog.
The dog population. If you can't be responsibile dog owner with a dog, especially a neuter dog you shouldn't have a dog. If you think its ok to neuter your dog before age of 2 you shouldn't have dog.
