This episode is honestly one of my favorites of S3 P1. Erwin "single handedly" overthrew the Government. All jokes aside, this is an iconic moment. All 3 Regiment Leaders coming together to get the corruption out. Pixis, Nile, Erwin, and a surprise Zachary. After all of the losses taken so far, the Military Police, Garrison, and the Survey Corps came together to get a big win.
Just to clarify, Hange had both a piece of the wall and a piece of Annie's crystal. After comparring the two she came to the conclusion of the walls being made out of hardend titan skin.
“Humanity has just begun down a new path, one far more dangerous than before” Whaaat- I completely forgot about it! Must be because I did not take it THAT seriously 😂😂😩😭
In the manga this arc had a lot more ups and downs but the readers complained that it was too long and they disliked the politics. This is the contents of a full season in 5 episodes basically.
Oh wow interesting to know. Here I go saying the way they handled it in the anime is a bit too fast for me. Not because I don’t understand it but because it just feels like there is barely any time to process what is currently going on before moving on to another plot point so by the end of the arc this all feels like a big fever dream. Also the coup d‘état (however you write that) went too smoothly imo too. 1 episode to overthrow a whole government? Idk man I mean I LOVE Erwin to death but this was too easy. Overall I wished there was more build up but at the same time enough viewers of this show are here for the action mainly and hate talking and mystery and conspiracy when there are Titans who could fight each other so the show runner would have to cater towards that audience as well. I just wished this arc was balanced a bit better. Not too long and fleshed out (like you said it was the case in the Manga which also reminds me of the Battle for Trost arc in S1 which DEFINETLY was too long in the anime alone dunno about the manga but I can imagine) but also not as rushed and simply solved as it was in the anime.
Didn't the scout's say that they were keeping Annie underground at the end of Season 1? The piece could have fallen off of Annie or off of the wall as she climbed it in the battle of Stohess.
That piece Hange was studying was indeed debris from when Annie pierced the wall with her crystallized fingers in order to climb it and get out of there.
Keep on going guys, this is the kind of saga where every revelation only leads to new question and puzzles and ended with more question. How? Why? What?
When you watch the end credits scene (i recommend you do) in ep 12 do NOT go back and watch it frame by frame, you can potentially spoil yourself if you put stuff together right but as long as you just watch it in real time and don't watch it like 100 times it's fine. Also remember to skip the intro for season 3 part 2 all together till episode 17 at least that bitch spoils the whole second half of thr season
Hey you guys are not making your patreon any favors by doing this pre-recorded plug. Once I hear "We're gonna punch it" I'm as ready as you guys are and then there is another plug happening, just kind of anoys me and doesn't make me want to check it out. I suggest plugging it with the intro, or do the pre-recorded at the end. Just a suggestion, I'm just a person typing on a computer, not a marketing wiz. Btw... I've had a blast watching you react to this brilliant show ;)
Just because a character isn't important in previous seasons, doesn't mean that character can't be important in the coming seasons. Side characters won't be just side characters anymore. They will be more heavily involved in the main plot moving forward. And your perception of the "main cast" will get blurred along the way. So, please don't relegate anybody as the "not important for the main plot" character. And btw, don't watch S3P2 opening until at least episode 7 (episode 19 overall). It literally spoils half the season.
As much as I love AoT and Erwin I do have to say that the first half of season 3 definetly felt a bit rushed and things were happening too smoothly. For as much conspiracy and mystery that was build beforehand the solution to that came within one episode of maybe one and a half. But because it was so entertaining to watch I dismissed it for the most part but still. This arc could’ve and I also feel like SHOULD have been a bit more complex and nuanced. Just my two cents.

Yes. It's definitely in my top 10 of the entire series.
Kenny is in charge of the King’s personal hitman squad basically, but he’s not in charge of the Interior police in general
yes when was Kenny the Rippper he was actually killing for the Reiss King
Yep, he was the Captain of the Spec-Ops, operating outside of the official Military
@@dtmt502 no, kenny the ripper was before he met the king (uri reiss) and started working for him

The guy in the right side really is brilliant with his mind reading where the plot will go.
@@lauzarahk2584 the guy with the mustache?
@@mrrxd5881 the guy with portland logo.
Actually, Isayama the author himself did said he hated the way he paced the arc in the manga which is why the studio did those changes.

30:27 It was a part of the wall that was only broken by annie's crystalized fingers when she was trying to escape.

Kenny is a captain of his own unit from what I've learned he is not the leader of the mp as a whole.
the leader of police is nile...
Don't worry, this season was dense of stuffs, you can't digest it with one watch. So look for the details from their conversation
