Thank you God for using Bishop Barron as Your instrument. We who passionately seek Your Word need more shepherds like him.
God bless our Bishops Barron
I am always thrilled to bits when I listen to Bishop Barron. He explains the Bible with such alacrity and clarity it opens my mind to its depth and meaning. I love to listen to him in his Word on Fire sessions. A phenomenal introduction to fascinating subjects in life’s lessons, eliminating the jargon and getting down to reality. He has truly made me relish being Catholic all over again. Thank you Bishop for making it so very interesting not only theoretically but practically too. Your documentaries are informative and I learn so much from them. Thank you again.🙏
I am not a catholic but I try to watch your sermons every Sunday
and Today was my birthday and I completely relate to the thing that you said about being lost in our happiest moments Today has been really nice for me
anyways Bishop you are such an inspiration for people no matter the religion

God has gifted us with this anointed Shepherd ! Thank you Bishop for helping to bring Jesus' salvation for us.
14:12 I am into my 81 year as a grateful Catholic and I feel as the 56 +- Catholic woman wrote. Why is so much of what you teach us so new to me? Are you and other sources of Truth the reason I am living so long? So I might eventually deserve to die in grace? Thank you!
One of my favorite sermons of all time. Thank you Bishop.
Mine too!!! Everything is there!
Explained so well and as always bringing me closer to understanding my faith❤ Bless you Bishop and the whole team.
Thank you Bishop Barron! God bless you.
I'm 59 years old and cradle born Catholic, but how is it I feel like I'm hearing things for the first time whenever I listen to Bishop Barron. Bishop Barron is truly a remarkable speaker/teacher. Thank you Bishop Barron.
I am so blessed to listen to Bishop Robert Barron 🙏
Same with me❤
because you are hearing things for the first time.
Omg, I said exactly the same thing to my friend earlier.
We been robbed of good Catholic teaching. Thank God for Bishop barron
This bishop has unpacked so brilliantly the core substance of the bible and the good news. And that too in under 15 minutes. 🙏
Jesus came to save us from satan , his demons and from eternal death ...
God bless you too Bishop! Thank you for explaining this sunday readings!
Best sermon from Bishop Barron I've yet heard!
Thanks bishop . Thanks for making things so simple for us to understand .
Another remarkable homily…thank you, Bishop Barron✝️
Incredible, every homily. Thank you Bishop .
Thank you, Bishop Barron!
Wow!! This was jam packed full of wisdom & teaching! I’m always amazed how Bishop Barron can read a gospel that I have heard/read many times during my lifetime and give me a new way to ponder & invite God’s Word into my life.
Thank you very much Bishop Barron. Excellent!
Thank you so much bishop, truly, it's a transformational sermon. I came to understand me...
Shame and blame game. I'm sorry dear God, I'm guilty... I am! For many, many years I joined that game., yet You alone can help me O God...
be merciful to me a SINNER!
Wonderful homily. Understanding Biblical truths heals wounds, both personal and social.
Let us go out of our minds like Jesus! Now!😍
Thank you. You really helped me today. May you continue in the works of Christ.
Bishop Barron is worthy successor to Archbishop Sheen.
Thank you Bishop Robert, you’re words of wisdom never cease to bring me peace and inspire God Bless you from 🇦🇺 Canberra🕊

I love you Bishop Barron.
So brilliant as always, thanks Bishop Barron!
God Bless you Bishop Barron! You are shedding Light on my spiritual drought
Considee the witness of Bishop Barron and know he is being harassed at least that much by Satan and demons. Bishop shows me the way i am called to witness, to climb up on the cross in sacrifice. Let all mortal flesh keep silenced in the face of Truth. I pray for Bp every day. Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to help him stand up.
God bless you dear Bishop Barron
Thank you Bishop Barron for feeding me today. You have blessed us with a beautiful explanation. God Blesses us with you. John 3:16
Dear Bishop I just wrote about this in my journal before listening to your pod cast. I’m convinced I deserve hell and May even be destined for it. I thought may be I am the persecutor and hoping Jesus is my defense. Seemingly the Lord is calling me closer to him as these thoughts are processed mean while despair lurks around the corner waiting to pounce. My desire to be with the Lord at mass, in prayer and reading scripture is very high and a part me wonders if this moment I could do any of those things could be the last time I get to. I hope He keeps calling me closer and I get to bring a lot of friends with me.
I heartily recommend developing the habit of finding Adoration hours. I began a year or two ago occasionally and I now try to go weekly. Sometimes all I have are fifteen minutes; at others, an hour or more.
Being open while you wait upon Him there will come to transform you, quietly, in the most profound and amazing ways.
Me, I do nothing (and can get sleepy, have a distracted and irreverent mind, etc.). But in persistence and patience, I’ve come to know He will communicate His Grace to His adorers.
Christ is so kind, generous, strong, and faithful. We are children of an amazing God.
He aided me in Crossing The Tiber back in 2014! His lessons remain a source of great understanding my Catholic Faith!
Wowed. Paised be the Lord for Jesus who has been sent to deliver us from evil.
Bishop Barron, this is a brilliant homily. I love the "out of mind" reference as a positive thing.
Thank you so much Bishon Barron.God Bless you🙏
I went to confession yesterday because I was aware of my separation from God.
When I heard Bishop B’s sermon this morning, it was like, Wow, wish i had heard this sermon last week, I would not have waited an extra week to receive His grace.
Funny, no matter how often I’ve studied theology, it seems everything old is viewed as new again. An inexhaustible richness and depth of Gods love. ❤️
Thanks Bishop Barron.
Thank you God and Jesus for giving us Bishop Barron, He is, has been and always be my spiritual mentor. His profound wisdom in teaching the Word of God has allowed me to become a truly Catholic believer. God bless you 🙏
Thank you, Father, Bishop. We need forgiveness, both for our sins, and toward others. The pride we sometimes take in our merciless attitudes can really make the soul cower before God. Compassion is so shallow when it is invoked at all, and so limited. Every good thing seems to serve only some greater evil, and be cut off from the fount of love we all seek. Please pray for us to value life in all its stages, and seek forgiveness when we sin so that we don’t abide as captives in Satan’s lair forever.
Pray for me to the Lord our God, for I am a sinner totally helpless and dependent upon the Mercy of the Holy Trinity and His intervention and guidance to free me even for a moment. Let me never forget my need and trust him always.
Lord, please bless and protect Bishop Barron and his helpers, and all the priesthood and church leaders. They serve such a vital need in this profligate world. Guide and guard them day by day. Amen.
Thank you again.+
What a brilliant sermon!!! Perfect sense! I've often wondered why we are all 'actors', with everyone we interact with. I had deduced it's a trust issue, that there is no one earthly who is 100% trustworthy. And just decided that didn't matter as long as we trusted in God, but this reveals a whole different answer in a way, that is soul resonating. A lifleong Catholic in Ireland, but only through phenomenal speakers from around the world am I only now truly discovering what it's all about. It was all so oppressive until recently. Go raibh míle maith agat agus Dia leath Easpag Baron
Wow. That was amazing. Thank you Bishop Barron
Thank you for all the messages Bishop. I'm currently involved in RCIA and I'm glad to have Catholic content to listen to. This message explained much to me PG BABY praise God
🙏🏻❤️🔥🙏🏻SACRED HEART OF JESUS, I place my trust in YOU 🙏🏻❤️🔥🙏🏻
Blessed Sunday!
Thank you. Great sermon.
God Bless you Bishop Barron !! Thankful for you !! ❤🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Bishop, you are a great teacher. Thank you for your efforts to lead us to Christ!
❤ Thank you 💕 so much Bishop
Praise to our Lord Jesus. Thank you, Bp Barron.❤
Thank you Bishop Barron ❤
Thank you!! Going to share this and hope it moves others how it moved me!
A very interesting approach from such personalities: St. Augustine, John Henry Newman, Jordan Peterson. The dynamics of the sin is, in other words, the self awareness, which leads us to keep the distance from God. Thank you, Bishop Barron. Always to the point. God bless you.
Wow, ive been watching your sunday sermons for almost a year now, but this one is good and hits close to home, very powerful stuff.
Amen! Thanks Bishop Barron!
This morning I listened to another sermon on the same readings. Bishop Barron's found the threads in Genesis and Mark and tied them wonderfully together. At least this Internet space appears to be functional. Amen to that.
First time I slighlty disagree with a tiny bit of Bishop Barron‘s wonderful sermon: Shame and Self-Consciousness can be a result from seriously abusive parents- I grew up so ashamed of myself, shame was the core of my being (it seemed, now, since I found Jesus, I know better) and self-consciousness a cruel companion. So it wasn‘t through any sin of mine that I was beaten and emotionally neglected by constantly (physically and emotionally) fighting parents. It was a burden for my whole life - until I found Jesus and the Catholic Church- and I felt myself as a burden and an awful being (as my mother often told me that I was) and on dark days that I should better not have been born at all. So, yes, shame and self-consciousness as a result of sin, but not always your own sin.
Let go of the past. Forgiveness will set you free of the shame and self-consciousness. Ask for the grace to forgive and keep your eyes fixed on the path in front of you. It’s the only way.
@@_Pia12 Yes, very true. I have! As much as I could so far since I found Jesus and converted to Catholicism last year! I do see my very old and still living parents with different eyes since the process of forgiveness has started- our encounters are very different and peaceful by now. I can see them now as fellow children of God and as much in need of God‘s love and grace as myself. Also, embracing God as my loving father and Mary as my loving mother has helped me a lot.

This is great! Thank you...
So excellent. Thank you
I think of God's "where are you" after the fall as a parent who knows their kids are too quiet. We know where our kids are, and we know they're in trouble. God is most certainly the Father.
Thank you Bishop Baron blessings come from your words thru the word of God🌹🌹
How is that a lost sheep becomes open to the Word but through grace? Grace comes through the priesthood here to the flock.
the new - Modern for our day - Fulton Sheen. We have to get this guy (in all respect) on NBC!
Thanks!
Excellent explanation of sin!
Amen 🙏🙏🙏. God Bless Bishop 🙏
Thanks Bishop you abe to explain well about sin and you are right of the sin blame game.I also blame my brother who also blaming us. We try to show him love and kindness but why he is so insensitive and proudly enjoy insulting us in the family. So sad my good Dad died and I, my brothers and cousin trying our to keep the family united but he always drunk. The money I given to him so that he will be happy wasted too much drinking alcohol. Because of that I blame him we hate and commit sin. Bishop Barron, Please include me in your prayers. Pray for the enlightenment and transformation of my elder brother . i feel so burdened all I can do is going always to church at least I feel at ease a little.
So great - thank you Bishop.
Thank you❤
Thank you Jesus for coming to SAVE US! 🙏🌈🕊
Maybe the simplest explanation of sin and the reasoning as to why so much of the world is dysfunctional! I am always a better person after listening to Bishop Barron’s homily!
Prayers and Love from INDIA.. Quite Illuminative for our conscience.. Thanks Bishop Barron.. @ 20: 48 IST
Thank you
Just as there is good pride and bad pride, there is good self-awareness and bad self-awareness... Good pride takes joy in a job well done; bad pride is the domain of the arrogant. Good self-awareness examines one's conscience in a healthy way; hyper self-awareness runs the gamut from feeling sorry for oneself to hiding from sin to being hypercritical of oneself. Being " in the zone", i.e. when we find so much joy in the work we are doing that we lose track of space and time, is a joyful space because it comes from KNOWING we are doing a good thing; no examination of conscience is necessary.
We haven’t lost sight of God, we simply fall short to varying degree. The relationship always exists and can forever be salvaged. It’s only a matter of time.
We need to confess our sins to God for forgiveness.
Thank you for Clearing UP some questions I ask about the THEOlOGY of SIN . . .. . . God Bless!
Amen, and amen🙏😇
I ate the forbidding fruit, and I can not look upon you!
I have offended you and committed the evil you abhor!
I am guilty!
Event hough repentant, I can not undo what I've done!
I stand here in the shadow of your mercy
Forgive me, Lord!
Your judgment is perfect
Thanks Bishop Baron.

Indeed, Christ said to the woman caught in adultery , "neither do I condemn you, go and SIN NO MORE" (JOHN 8, 11).
All are called to follow Christ, but their "inclusion" is determined on their will to sin no more, I.e. on their conversion.
Rev. 22, 14-15 shows clearly the importance of conversion.
Alienation-shame-blame is not all; shame is of no use if it leads to blaming (others), but it may be Alienation - remorse- repentance.
The first message of Jesus was" REPENT and believe the good news".
When God created the legislation, He created it to deter people for fear of the spread of adultery among people. I am Muslim . Thank God
Glory be to God Heavenly Father! Jesús I trust in you.
Amen
Love Bishop Barron but disappointed The Bishop didn't speak on the gospel reading...Mark 3.20-35 'Who are my mother and brothers '
11:41
Get back to God and His Son and His Eternal Mother...Mary. Jesus, the Greatest Redeemer of all eternety. Follow His heart, His Words, His teaching. Hes is Go, in His likeness
"Where are you?"
God knows exactly where Adam is, but does Adam? He has disobeyed God's command and has placed the barrier of sin between himself and his Creator. Adam no longer knows where God is, and because of this, in spite of the fact that the serpent promised knowledge, he forgets God's nature and believes he can hide himself. This because he still knows God's nature and knows he cannot hide his disobedience. He knows that he is naked (defenseless) before God.
God is saying, "You know you can't hide anything from Me, I am here for you regardless of what you have done."
❤
2:43-2:51 “Sin awakens in us, just by its very nature, a sense of shame and self-consciousness.” When you feel this lookout for any sin you have committed and ask the Lord for forgiveness.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. AMEN
Dear Most Reverend Bishop Barron,
Would you please explain for me the verse 3:31 in today Gospel: "And his mother and his brothers came, and standing outside they sent to him and called him". How could Mary, The Mother of God and the most faithful servant of God allow Jesus's brothers to go to the house and called to the Lord. I have tried to understand this verse for many years. I wonder, the Author, Mark wrote this to comfort the sinner like me (sometimes, with my narrow and stupid mind, I do have doubt). Thank you very much Bishop Barron. You are my mirrow that reflect Christ's light into my life.
People on the earth make God angry, God will destroy the earth.
At first, I thought this was a trick question.
Am jesus the last leaders
Excellent! Very enlightening. Thank you!
Sins have sundry names and miscellaneous manifestations; but for each and every one of them there is always one and the same synonym, namely, ‘irrationality’ (aloyía). -Tzamalikos regarding Origen’s teaching.
