The tiger 131 is a real tank kept at the bovington tank museum and is the only working tiger 1 in the world! which makes me happy to know I live VERY close to the museum and am going to see the tiger 131 soon!

the hammer is amazing with a good crew , I got 9 perks on the crew , reload 5.5 sec , I do quite well in it , regularly make 100k +

Thanks for the excellent review. Watched and decided to buy the Tiger 131. Have had 14 games in it so far and the experience has ranged from lasting only a few minutes and hardly doing anything when there were four arty on each team, to racking up just over 4100 damage on the last game and earning a mastery badge. It's really fun and you're right, quite a few players get caught out by the speed of the reload.
Wow console even more realistic than PC
I love this tiger, I have about 30-40 matches in it and around 80-90 kills. I so far have a 79% win rate and have received 4 99% mastery badges so far. My first game was my best one so far, I held off 5 tanks alone with about 120 hp and scored about 4,000 dmg. Overall if you are familiar with the Tech tree tiger you will love the 131
Marshall J. Daniels ace tankers are easy to get in a brand new vehicle but the 4k dmg is gg
The UNiCuS Clan, yes I do realize they are easy to get however I've had more 4K games in the 131 that my tiger 1, and I have put around 500 battles into the TT tiger. I believe it is mostly the pref matchmaking and the rof.
im pretty sure the tiger 131 actually has a tiger 2 engine rather than its original, which has been cut in half for a display piece.

this thing shouldn't have preferred watch making it only has 15 mm less pen then the Russian tanks at the same tier and 2mm less than the black prince I find it insulting that they give this thing better penetration and leave the rest of the rest of the German tanks using this gun feeling like a joke
I mean for f sake you park the tiger 131 and the tech Tree Tiger in front of each other who do you think's going to win broken

the 131 gun is not better than the hammers, I know the hammer does see up to their 9 , but I like kicking teir 9 ass in a teir 7.😏
I don't think the 131's gun is better than the Hammers (although the increased RoF is nice) I just prefer the extra mobility of the 131
is a Sherman Fury sold separately and there is just another offer that is a bundle or is it a bundle and you have to buy the bundle

Ive been wanting the tiger with the short 88 for ages and I was expecting to buy the heavy tanks no6 but then 131 came along

while doing the germany try out op i played a round in the luchs where i killed a hammer and a sherman jumbo with the 3cm gun
If they upgraded the pen on L 56 gun for this tank, why can't they do it for every other tank that gets this gun.
Because people paid money for it and they needed to try and make it as competitive as the massively over buffed tech tree tiger

I am quite enjoying the 131 myself. Have noticed the reduced accuracy - although I have managed to pick up 1 "Sniper".
The rof has caught 1 or 2 people out who charged and regretted it.
Not managed to "ace" it yet - if at all - but picked up a first class so not bad.
Overall, I like it.
Jeff Dave, I do not do much sniping however at longer ranges it does tend to suffer now and again. I haven't noticed it too much because I'm usually up front side scraping and popping shots around cover.
Put vents instead of the optics to increase the awesome dpm
Thank you for the review. I found it quite informative. My hopes are that they allow us to obtain one in ops. I don't think I'm going to spend the $$ for one.
Kentucky Mike This tank will likely never be given away as the rights to this tank are owned by The Bovington Tank Museum and Sony meaning everyone it’s on sale money goes to the museum, if it’s a freebie they will get no money
man ps4 wot has so much more detail than PC wot
A few PC players have said the same, mostly to do with details on the tanks like antennas moving and they said the lighting effects were better like the sun glare etc. I think some of the PC graphics are better though lol
Cpt Beardface not really before I came on console I was a PC and the graphics aren't as good as console.
Witch is weird considering it's PC... it bothers me. That and the gun sites are more pleasant to look at.
Interesting, ammo and radio are placed slightly different from the Hammer.
AlexTheStampede its actually placed worse so it gets ammo racked easier
That's something I didn't notice/check, I assumed it was in the same place and should've really checked

Which country did you choose in tankbowl?
It was a tough decision for me because with Germany I've got the Captured KV-1, Panther 88, Tiger 1 and Tiger 131, but for USA I've got the T29, T32, T34, Fury, and the T30, so I ended up going for USA :)

I already have the Tiger Hammer, is it still worth getting
It depends on how much you like Tiger's, I have the Hammer as well but I never use it, I prefer the Tech Tree one even though it's got no bonuses because I prefer the extra mobility, so for me, I prefer the 131 over the Hammer, even though the Hammer has more penn and damage, because 131 has the bigger engine and the extra mobility over the Hammer. Hope that helps :)

The GamingGuy, if you know how to play the normal tiger 1 you shall have a major advantage with it's superior rate of fire.

Why don't you use the crew from your TT Tiger?
It's a good point and I normally would, but I wanted to try and show what it's like with an untrained crew/the crew that came with, and the other reason is that my TT Tiger crew aren't very good, I did the typical noob thing when I first started playing WoT, straight for the Tiger, didn't know how to play it so I hated it and sold it, and then re-bought it now I know better lol, but I'm still training the crew up for it

nope it doesn't come with a special skill and IT's not from the Dark Horse Comic Roll Out

just like The Hidden it comes with a skill that you can get in game unlike the Snakebite, The Boilermaker and Revenant Kraft's Panther those are Legendary skill...
when The Hidden Stug didn't get a Legendary skill I was quite disappointing but I get it why

Cpt Beardface haha, I did a similar thing when I was new: I went straight for the Panther! I hated the slow traverse on everything, it's like the tank had a neck brace. Then I compounded my mistake by unlocking the Panther II instead of the Tiger II without looking at their stats! Yeah. Once I learned my error, I rage-sold the Panther and never went back. These days I'm happy with my Aufklärungspanzer--with the same crew from the Panther so it's kinda poetic, though now they call Ru 251 home. Someday I may go back for that 50M, though. Someday...

Calvin Greene, I run rammer vents and gld, snapshotting around cover is much easier with the gld
I've gone for GLD, gun rammer and coated optics, but to be honest these guys are right as well, it just depends on how you want to play the tank. In a more long range support role, gun rammer, vents, binos (although I'd possibly swap vents for a GLD), medium range support, GLD, gun rammer, coated optics, and then medium range support to short range, GLD, gun rammer, vents, but it's down to what works for you at the end of the day. It's a bit long, but I hope that helps :)

Chris Hobson but it has a low silver bonus. So earning silver more comes down to your ability to use it, rather than the tank giving a massive boost.

Yeah that's the one I picked up, I'd only got the Ripper in that bundle but I got the discounted price of the Ripper back in gold

Yeah I think it was the USA quarterback bundle, it's got the M4A2E4 Ripper, the Ram II, T23E3 and T95E2 in it :)
