Hopefully the engines have improved. My Grand Cherokee came out with a serious engine failure. The coolant leaked into the cylinders, I imagine due to failed seals or gaskets, and now the car is priced at $8,000 to fix it. Yes, $8,000. The engine has to be redone and the brand completely disregards this fault, which is a manufacturing fault. The car has 70,000 km and is impeccable. Never crashed. How do they expect such a serious failure to be considered the user's responsibility ?? AMAZING !!
What year was yours they had problems from 2011-2015 they had to redesign the 3.6 V6 in 2016. And they say they fixed all the problems I had a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country Limited with the 3.6 V6. And it started ticking badly at only 93,251 miles they said all the lifters needed to be replaced. And I changed the oil and filter every 5,000-8,000 miles and only used mobile 1 full synthetic.
These WL Grand Cherokees ride pretty smoothly, even with the V6 they have decent power. They are now built off of an Alfa Romeo platform and are totally different then their WK2 platform predecessors. There have been some early teething pains electrical wise. Have not driven a 5.7L V8 one yet but should be about the same as a WK2 equivalent.
@@Amano- This one in the video is the V6, they say it is in the description, you can tell by the way it sounds starting and what it sounds like at idle from the outside. And one more thing, just because it has a dual outlet exhaust does not mean it has the V8, upper level trimmed Grand Cherokees have dual outlet exhaust with or without a V8.
Same chime you hear in the Pacifica, Durango, Wrangler, and previous gen Grand Cherokee. The sounds from a sheep is definitely different than Toyota’s.
I enjoyed the video. I have a question. I am the summit reserve model owner.
When I take my foot off the accelerator while driving, a loud vibration sound(resonance sound) occurs in the low-speed section. Is there any way to diagnose and deal with this problem in the US?? Engineers in my country recognize the problem, but don't know how to correct it. If you have the same symptoms in the US, May I know how you fixed it?? Thanks.
The best test I've ever seen. He convinced me
it's like getting the amenities of a $100,000 suvs for almost half the price
its over 70k specked out
Yeah closer to 3/4 of the price, but I get what your saying.
This might be the best 3 row crossover

@@paulcollins3554 well sounds like they never fixed the issues with the pentastar V6 then. 🤦

Actually not true. The WL platform is a dedicated Jeep chassis
@@hintonhardin It’s based on the Gorgio platform
@@La-yt1wr it’s not. It’s a clean sheet design. The team that designed it did assist in developing the Giorgio platform tho.
This has a v8 not V6

I just love your content
Not bad it has some new tech it seems too
Super nice review man!
I couldn't buy a car this nice, that costs this much, to only have a V6. Need the Hemi.
Sounds like a Toyota Chime at startup
Jeep's previous chime(like in the 2018 compass) was perfect. IDK why they have shifted to this crappy one.

Better designed interior than a Maserati. And this interior really isn’t outrageously spectacular lol. That’s hilarious
tht exhaust voices in the background..!!🤤🤤🤤
Jeep should’ve integrated more of that wood into the cabin, the piano black was a poor choice
Beautiful but will it last
Once I'm a better driver I will get this one
Can you make a POV test drive of 2022 Jeep grand wagoneer ?
I enjoyed the video.

That leather is gorgeous, but that gloss black is DISGUSTING
lol that thing is slow. naturally aspirated v6 in 2021. yikes!
It’s sufficient power, nothing “yikes,” although probably not enough for the price
The engine is the only weak spot of this car. The v8 doesn't make it a ton more fun either. A stronger turbo 6 would've been perfect.
At least the unreliability of the turbochargers won't reach this grand Cherokee.
@@alh06 that’s why the V8 is a option.
