I use this lens on Hasselblad 907x for landscape. Minimal vignetting at f2.8 and gone at f4. Great sharpness except extreme corners. And it looks better than any Hasselblad x mount lenses.
You should get the black paint LLL 28/2.8. Such a beautiful lens with a really pleasant rendering (the black paint is a bit strange, not so beautiful as the Voigtländer). Btw I prefer the Nocton 28/1.5 over the Ultron
Oh MAN! The Voigtlander lenses for the M-mount are soooo attractive. Top marks, for their aesthetics. I wish they did the same designs for the Nikon Z-mount/F-mount. That said, i did buy the Voigtlander SL II - S for the Nikon f-mount and love the look, fit & finish, as well as their build quality.
Thanks again for a well reasoned review. I enjoy your laid-back style and your attention to VALUE. All my Leicas are classic film (111f,111f st M2,M4 M6 (original). I don't know if I will ever be able to justify a digital M since I'm retired. I use a Canon RF to M lens adapter for digital.Best wishes.
@@jayderose753 I think that is a sensible choice. Digital Ms are getting more and more close to any other mirrorless systems, especially with visoflex getting better and more popular.
I will always prefer a digital M if I can swing the cost. The size difference is noticeable for me when it’s around my neck, in my hands, etc. Taking both a digital M and a Sony to a convention, the Sony is more ergonomic so it “feels” lighter in my mind but carrying it around I just didn’t like its bulk and weight of the whole kit after a few hours. If it doesn’t bother someone though I would always recommend a cheaper, non Leica digital body.
Nope there is no soft stop. I personally like the steel rim design haha, it makes the lens feel a bit more premium. But I understand lots of ppl like a uniformly black lens barrel.
There is a little but subtle stop. At 0.6m there is a little click you feel and hear 😃 very subtle but when you know and hear this your got the trigger that you go beyond that.
Hey Jimmy, my name is Johnny and I'm a freelance logo designer, would you love to have a logo for your photography business and your channel to have a brand image your audience can remember your contents from and also can be one of the merch print you can sell to your fans to buy and own and spread the words about your channel too? Let me know if you interested and I would love to work with you to design these for you! :-)
I am simple man. I saw Jimmy, I upvote. Thanks for another comparison video!

Great video! Thx a lot! For my taste, I prefer bokeh rendering on Voigtlander lens

@@Millicente try the a7cr, it’s small and light and shares the same 60mp sensor as m11.
What’s your kit to film your videos? The quality is really good!

I wish Voigtlander would ditch the silver rim. Does the Voigtlander still not have a soft stop at 0.7m focus?

Only new voigtlanders have the soft stop
