- Scott and his wife Mary go undercover in a small group, documenting how Christian people truly live. As unexpected friendships grow, and their hidden cameras capture life in it's funny, honest, and serious moments, the couple's negative assumptions about Christianity break down, putting them in a difficult position. This was a great movie, the longer it ran the better the storyline got but the Yoga thing, Yoga should have no place in a Christian movie. Every one of the exercises practiced has a connection of paying homage to one or more of the 350 million demonic deities worshiped in Hinduism, which is where Yoga originates and has been promoted from. Somehow it has found its way into some parts of the Christian church, should not be there, ever.

Very cute movie but christian movies should not promote yoga. The background of Yoga is praising and calling tin gods. Please brothers and sisters do your own research , God bless you.
i agree yoga is rooted in pagan rituals and hinduism. so we shouldnt entertain this.
If you're meditating with God in your heart and on your mind, stretching can be a relaxing and quiet moment with our Father and Saviour.

Our Heavenly Father is VERY ADAMENT about NOT serving other gods...which do not actually exist, if you serve "another god" you are serving Satan. If you want to stretch, fine, but don't use Yoga Poses.
This is a very excellent movie. It touched my heart because I have also done missionary work in Guatemala. I could relate to this movie in a very real way. Thank you for sharing this

I saw ''Christian Comedy''..... tell me why I started wailing halfway through the movie... Great movie, a great reminder of God's grace that we enjoy every moment. Loved the movie. it was very entertaining

Thank you for such a powerful movie. Unlike a lot of movies, I love how Small Group lets us all know that as imperfect as we ALL are, God can and will work through us to to bring others into His kingdom. I have already bookmarked this movie to watch again.

wow! this film surprised in a really good way. what a beautiful story, and how perfectly real and touching. This really shows the love and heart of our Lord and Father and how He knows us so personally and reaches us in exactly the language we speak. I really enjoyed this, and to be honest I think I cried more than I laughed, Lord touched the cords of my heart with this tale.Thank you so much to the faithful servants who put it out there. May your future works in serving the Lord and showing his glory in such a creative manner be continually and abundantly blessed.
I have to apologise, I had reservations about this film, when my sister chose it for us to watch ... and then rowdy biker neighbour didn't help. I know it was only a film but i found myself judging him... then he goes and says, he served in the military, my heart now melted, and tears in my eyes, hopefully lesson learned :(
What i think is also significant, is just because we call ourselves Christian, it doesn't mean we are exempt from tragedy and hardship a great reminder that, that is life, until Jesus returns like the Bible says He would. And last thought: love near the end when i think his name is Shane ?? after watching the film, says something like, it's good to see how some may perceive us... that was wisdom, what can we learn??! (ok, I've finished, lol!!! night night from London ;)

I'm 71yo and I love Jesus. 12 years ago I was in an accident few into a huge rock on my head and broke my neck .it was a miracle that I even lived but I had no nerve damage at all.Then I got the brain damage symptoms and PTSD. I went to Uruguay and did evangelism for 8 years.
One day I was robbed and broke my hip I have a pension because I am a Vietnam veteran. But someone at the bank didn't send me a debit card. There I was with no money in south America it was so stressful but
God again helped me survive the PTSD Praying and reading my Bible. After 9 months without a hip replace ment operation I finally was able to fly back to Eugene Oregon where the bank was and Veterans Hospital I had 50,000usd and got a new debit card ,but I couldn't get into the Veterans system they were not taking any new patients. So I flew to Nashville Tennessee about 3 months ago staying in crap motels for 2,000usd per month the people here are all stressed out because many people have moved here and drove up the cost of living now it is dangerous and anxiety is going through the roof . I have a wheel chair now but no good housing.my brain function is so low that I am only surviving. That is why when I read your comment I felt like asking you to pray for me. I have no one to pray for me Satan is screaming to destroy me through some evil people who pretend to be my friend. Yes please pray 🙏 I believe it will help my situation thank you

So much better than I expected. Just as I like them. Praise God the writing, story lines, acting and reality of faith-based films seems to be improving. They become tools the rest of us believers can use to present the genuine message of Jesus Christ in a world of such need. Thank you. Bless all who watch and genuinely listen. WOW, what an amazing rollercoaster ride of a spiritually lifting, funny and entertaining movie this is. Whatever your Religious or non- religious beliefs are, this is a top rate Production. 100% Highly suggested to watch this gem.
I know we as Christians may not know that yoga is not what God to be involved in. I have done the stretching moves yoga has to offer. That is good. However, the meditation part of it and the deep breathing to reach your inner self is an occult practice. It comes from an eastern religion. So we must be aware of how we can be on a slippery slope in being involved in this .
A true disciple of Jesus must be aware of the enemy devices through yoga or any thing that substitutes Jesus and our focus on Him.

However, outside of this the movie helped the world see that Christianity is the only faith that is TRUE! There is Only One God and it is through Jesus we get to know God the Father!! Practicing any other religion will not cut it. True faith in Jesus rescues our soul and makes us well.

Great movie GOD is good, by helping those who don't see to see, and those who do see, see better.

Everyone has their own convictions about yoga and it’s not the same conviction for all devout followers of Christ. My Christian university had a class at the fitness rec called Holy Yoga. It really helped me grow in my faith as young/baby Christian. Now if I go to Heaven and learn that I’m wrong about yoga… well thank goodness for God’s grace and mercy!

I love small groups , it’s amazing to have fellowship with other believers and see how the Lord is working in others lives and it’s very encouraging
Good to see feature about a missionary who knows the culture and language and gives himself for these kids, long term. However, note that it takes a legitimate shot at short term missionaries. They could have had that misho executed with their lack of understanding of the culture. Good movie.
Also true about short term missions: people go, see a child being trafficked, and spend the rest of their lives helping kids.
But, your point is valid, important, and it stands.

Christian movies coming out now are creatively retelling the story of Jesus in new and interesting ways that can help all to relate to God's work in this world today. No generation has the same challenges as the one before but Lord Jesus has a handle on every situation, working things perfectly to bring many sons and daughters into His kingdom !! God bless the movie makers doing a very important work for the Lord Almighty !!! Thank be to Him, and thanks to those involved in this wonderful movie.

I give thanks and praise to Jesus every day all day. Can anyone out there tell me what passages in the BIBLE instruct me on exercise? I am not worshipping while I do yoga. I'm stretching and strengthening my muscles, realigning my skeletal system, and rejuvenating my lungs. I prefer yoga to any other form of exercise I've tried. So far no sessions I have been to have involved any form of prayer. And when I'm done? I thank Jesus for providing me with a way to keep my physical, human self ready to help and serve others.
Steven Bancarz has some good videos on this subject... something to do with specific poses honoring certain deities.

I am a Christian, Love my Lord & Yeshua... And Yoga. Don't see the problem. Shouldnt be judgemental. Only the Lord shall judge. Its all about whats in your Heart.... And hes in mine, so I will continue in practicing Yoga & meditation that helps me connect with him.

I can tell you that there are a lot of Christians who don't have rock bands and all of that. This is totally just an Evangelical Protestant thing.
Why is the one man joking about being married to the lady at the table? And saying he looks forward to spending time with her? Seems like flirting
It was a very good movie, especially the part when they went to Guatemala. That could be a whole movie in itself. The only reason why I cannot recommend it is the promotion of yoga in this movie. I have been involved in Deliverance Ministry and the amount of kundalini spirits you have to cast out of people who participate in yoga... it's crazy. People don't know they are engaging with Hindu spirits when they are participating in these meditations and poses. You cannot eat at the table of God and at the table of demons at the same time. Have nothing to do with the fruitless Deeds of Darkness because friendship with the world is enmity with God. Christians shouldn't dabble in Satan's stuff, you can't mix light and darkness together. Yoga is of darkness, it certainly didn't come from God. It's packaged as Fitness and health, but it is a pagan spiritual practice.

Yogic practices like postures and stretching exercises have clear and tangible benefits for physical health and are therefore compatible, if not complementary, to Christian ideology. Please stop looking at the negative and evil in everything. Yoga can be seen as a way of meditating - which there are different in many ways and means. Yoga is more about keeping your body healthy and your mind clear of any outside influenence - quiet your mind and be in a position to clear your mind and be in a position to recieve clear messages from above.
Lovely movie, but I wonder if Christians should promote Yoga which is an Eastern philosophy and not Christian at all.
Great film but the yoga practice is a big problem. Please see all testimonies "from new age to Jesus"..
I can understand about drinking and yoga while not being saved. But after the conversion us no no for me. Unfortunately, many Christians do not see the harm of it, maybe because they love doing it and don’t want to stop, maybe because they don’t know that each pose is worshipping one of man made gods.
As for the lost child, in the book of Job, God restored Jon’s fortune double. But he got the same number of daughters and sons. The reason ? Because the ones whom Job lost in the beginning of the book are alive in heaven. ❤ So by giving Job same numbers of daughters and sons, God doubled his children.

Drinking in the beginning and I only got 12 minutes in when they use the Lord's name in vain. This is not a Christian movie and I'm not watching any more.
