This was such a journey to watch! Its pretty great that they provided tents for vendors (I'd be more willing to try outdoor markets if I didn't have to lug around a tent) AND the dedicated vendor parking?? What a blessing, especially when you're solo. Juggling unloading, parking, and setting up is one of the most stressful parts of any event for me, so I can only imagine how much that helped ease some of the load. I'm bummed to hear about the chaos of the weather and all that rain. It’s hard enough to keep spirits up during a slower show, but then dealing with a soaked backdrop and a falling display? >clutches chest< But at 13:3 when you were talking about the display falling, I felt so stressed for you - but the way you said it? I laughed so loud. You’ve got such a gift for making even the tough moments relatable and funny. It hurts to see you wrestle with those feelings of doubt & imposter syndrome. I know that moment where your booth is quiet, and you see crowds at other tables-it’s such a vulnerable and isolating feeling. But let me tell you something: you’re amazing! Your art, your booth, your creativity, your dedication-all of it, amazing! You’re on the cusp of hitting 10k followers on Instagram, which is such a massive milestone. I know it’s easy to let numbers make us feel like they measure our self-worth, but they don’t. What truly matters is the heart and soul you pour into your work, and anyone who’s followed your journey can see that. Your setup is always so eye-catching and thoughtful, and on top of all that, you’re vlogging?! It’s incredible how much you’re juggling and how you’re sharing your story with the world. You’re not just a talented artist-you’re an inspiration to so many, myself included. I’ve been running my own business for over a decade, and honestly? You seem so much more put together than I am even now. The way you manage your work, your brand, and your online presence blows me away. You’re doing incredible work, and every step of your journey-even the challenging ones-builds toward something bigger and brighter. Keep going. You’re doing amazing things, and your work is resonating with more people than you realize.
Omg please do not doubt urself ur art and designs are lovely! After i bought ur Cute and Dangerous hoodie at RCCC, i wore that mostly everyday at work and when it rained. I'm even bringing the corgi tote bag to Kumoricon and going to ur booth again. 😂
