The tribute made me cry♥️ it was so sweet. I'm an 80s baby from NY and grew up watching this show. It keeps me connected to my past. Just relax with some episodes and forget about the world around me.
Hear hear, I remember watching it every night 11:00 and 11:30 pm with my dad on Ch11. I guess being a bus driver from Brooklyn, it was a NYC iconic show.
The Honeymooners is one the funniest, and greatest tv shows of all time. Ralph was like a self sabotaging child, whose schemes and bright ideas always blew up in his face, and a bully, always screaming, yelling. And we wouldn’t have Ralph any other way. Jackie Gleason was an absolute genius, and one of the greatest entertainers of all time.
Every single show in sitcom history has some formula, story, angle, or idea from the HM ..that's why he's ..THE GREATEST ..I love you to Ralph. Thanks for the decades of laughter. None of us could ever repay you.
Looks great in color that is exactly the shade of navy blue in Ralph's bus driver's uniform that I had imagined would look like and the same color white shirt grey vest and grey worn hat on Ed's head; the white pearls on Alice's neck, the colors of her dresses; and the dull woodsy brownish color of the apartment. Love it.
Based on a snippet of color film of the I Love Lucy sets, this was probably a salmon color, because that is what worked for the b/w film and TVs of the time.
Thank you Miss Meadiws fir these kind words. So many of us have so many wonderful memories of Jackie Gleason. We love Audrey Meadows just as well. I still think you're a beautiful lady. I hope and pray you can see and hear my words Honey. We love you very much.
Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I'm still laughing over Ralph trying to get in from that window! I've loved this show all my life and always will 😁❤
These episodes are almost 70 years old that's scary but they still generate laughter all these years later. I agree that they're great in colour. I've always wondered tho why those chairs always changed from one episode to another as they go from plain to ornate, just a blooper I've noticed.
I'm enjoying seeing these again. And it's nice for me to see them in color even if it's not perfect one day I'm sure they'll be properly restored and upscaled
Flintstones has always been my favorite cartoon, and I love the honeymooner's. When I lived in Chicago and decided to stop wasting my money on cable, I discovered a local TV station not on cable showed old TV shows, especially this show. I was very pleased
Query Meadows Sid that it was years before she could get a job that did not involve her being around a stove. Joyce Randolph said that she was so recognizable as Trixie, despite her limited screen time, that she had a very difficult time finding work for many, many years.
I wouldn't have talked to him for awhile or until I wasn't mad any more. After 14 years and knowing how jealous my husband was, there would be no surprise parties or special events. Everything would be told beforehand and when he came to his senses, I would start again trying to make him happy. But then again, there would be no TV show. Lol just saying.
I never get tired of the show

Nice
I love watching the classics to forget how this world is now

I loved the line of Ed saying Ralph wasn't invited to his own birthday party as his name wasn't on the list.😅😅
What a surprise for me! My first time to see my favorite Brooklynites in color! Thank you.

Black and white is so much better

Art carney won a oscar for harry and tonto jackie gleason should of won one as well in films he did ❤❤
Steve McQueen & Jackie look it up he should have won for his portrayal of a seargent in the army, not bad as Minn Fats either
I love seeing the Honeymooner in color look nice Thank you 👍🏿👍🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿♥️♥️♥️♥️
Love to see the old B&W Colorized. Gives it new life.
Not really. Back then the ERA of tv was black and white.
Love It In Color 😊
Very touching tribute from Audrey. “Baby, you’re the greatest!”.
This makes me cry, she's too loyal to him 💌
The best colorization i've seen ever
Nice work💯👏👏👏
Ralph and Norton were the very best comedy duos since Laurel and Hardy
Absolutely! The old shows were the best they don’t make them like that anymore … my other favorite is I love Lucy

YOU might want to put a WARNING UP , the color flashes to much!!!!!!
I can't believe that pizza box is 70 yrs old. 😊
Thank God for the honeymooners
The flintstones had loyal order of dinosaurs and water buffaloes and the honeymooners had the loyal order of raccoons
Flintstones and honeymooners fred, barney ralph ed liked ❤ bowling, golf and pool
Flintstones has always been my favorite cartoon, and I love the honeymooner's.

I love how Northon make Ralph mad
They can really do this right all 39 in color just like they did with 2 Andy Griffith shows they were perfect this is home made
Query Meadows Sid that it was years before she could get a job that did not involve her being around a stove. Joyce Randolph said that she was so recognizable as Trixie, despite her limited screen time, that she had a very difficult time finding work for many, many years.
When they show used to come on CBS it used to be in color a long time ago

Thats now a $8k a month apartment in Manhattan.
Manhattan? The place was in Bklyn. For some reason Gleason wanted the apt to look like the brownstone he grew up in.
@@eloiseockert9233Still probably about $3K a month!
So, how would they pronounce "potty"??
The coloring is terrible. The hands and arms are often left black and white.
and yet, these morons are telling this guy he did a great job....lol
Who Cares!
I happen to appreciate the work and effort the person did on this.
You must sit on pointed fences too much.
When we really laughed😅
Appreciate the effort but unwatchable for me.
A Salad 😂😂😂😂😂
Are you planning to do more colorizing of episodes?
Definitely at some point!
@@itsallrelative40 Great! Thanks
Even 70 year old pizza looks good. ;)
Jackie Gleason The Great One,May He R.I.P
Always thought Ralph's bus uniform was blue.
Art got an Oscar and emmy award and. Audrey meadow as well emmy also jackie got no emmy award
Funny JG hadn't ever won an Emmy award since the show was his 'baby.'
the colors you used are very period consistent
Great color
😍🥰😍🥰😍
Poor audio!
The guest actor says "I'm thru Mrs. Cranston." Guessing he botched the line, no need to add in a mistake like that.
the flintstones cartoon was loosely based on the honeymooners
I prefer the b/w
The colorization isn't good here. And wasn't Audrey Meadows hair red?
B/W is the way it should always be. Colorizing just makes it seem phony.
The color looks washed out.
Korea (1950-1953)
The color is awful.
