Moviecraft continues to unearth the most fascinating artifacts for their channel. And always in totally watchable shape, unlike a lot of other channels here. No memory of this game show at all, but loved seeing some “everyday” 60’s gals in swimwear, as opposed to celebrities or models. Those were the “older” girls when I was a preteen and to this day I honor the mysterious magic they conjured in my naive imagination back then. 😊
Hi. I used to watch this show. I was eight when this episode aired. Weird to discover this video. No wonder all my early childhood memories are in black and white. Thanks.
This may be the best extant copy of the show that has survived all these years. It appears to be a B&W kinescope copy of the original color production.
Sage had a great announcer's voice . This was an ABC. Network show that I viewed in NYC. ABC was mate to yhe Color party this this show was in B&W even in 1968. This was taped in PALM BEACH SHORES on Singer Island in Palm Beach County. I recently visited the site.
The original Survivor. I remember watching this show during summer break and when home sick of school when I was in about fourth grade. Have thought about it off and on through the years and had the urge today to see if I could find it on RUclips.
2:27 He's a second baseman for the Cincinnati farm system in 1968. By that time, he had to be good because they found some guy in Houston named Joe Morgan that made sure that Tony guy stayed in the minors
This is really neat. Does anyone know - was this a syndicated show or did it appear on a particular network? Never heard of the show before this. Nice connection for me because I'm originally from Lafayette LA just like the Cajun fella.
I remember watching this when I walked home for lunch in the 1st grade. I thought I dreamed of it because I've described it to friends & family & nobody remembers it, but damn it it's real. I KNEW IT! 🛥

John Bartholomew Tucker (1930-2014) was better known by his voice on many TV commercials.
Moved to the Palm Beaches in 68...will never leave FL

Correct...transferred from 16mm film kinescope. I'm sure the tapes have been erased long ago.
As seen weekdays at 12:30pm(et).
13:37- Bill Fiore {veteran commercial actor}.
So remember this from third grade.

It actually was shot in color, but B&W copies came from cheaper video machines.

Watch this and compare the differences between then and now.
If these young couples are not dead by now, they would be about 80 years old now in 2023.
Nice thought 🙄
16:49- Norman Rose, announcer.
23:31 - Not only that, the tubes were a lead / cadmium alloy.
But what about that bath soap with Hexaclorophene? ⚗️

Glad you enjoyed it. This was an ABC network show.
It showed in the Los Angeles area.
I lived in Shreveport, LA, and we watched it. I don't remember which channel, though.
