gustong gusto ko ang kantang I Miss You So at Faithful Love..I remember sa sayawan, usong uso ito when I was 15 years old..Now I am already 68 years old, retired teacher with 6 children and 12 grandchildren and I still love to hear this instrumental music..
Original composer & arranger is Ernie Delgado so this Manalili must just then be a fan of Delgado that his name must never be ahead of or before Delgado!
going back 5 years , I remember during a dance party in a dusty basketball court , where dancing in this sweet music as they call it, the emcee would announce that this special music only with those holding the BLUE RIBBON can dance. hahahaha with all the lights on...
Yes the lady will be dance with a price base of the red blue and white ribbons ......the people are sorounding the dusty dance area decorated with coconut palm and flowers with lights on......until midnight.....going home with the parents....

It's so sad that I'm a few years late to discover my high school classmate's legendary accomplishment in the Philippines' music industry. Rest in peace, my friend. Your musical legacy will always endure and will live forever. My fondest memory of our high school days will be our PMT drills with your cadence as the PMT's Company Commander. Also, of forming a band to rival The Beatles. Play your music in heaven. Your superb musical instrumentals on earth will never fade. Again, rest in peace, Cesar.
My favorite instrumental music...lagi itong tugtugin sa sayawan ng barrio..ang simple ng buhay noon pero napakasaya..kung may time machine lang gusto kong balikan ang 60s.

Reminds me of my High School days (Junior & Seniors Prom, Silay Institute) and Barrio Fiesta (Bo. Bubog, Talisay), Thank You for uploading these two instrumental songs. .
Naalala at bumabalik sa aling diwa ang aming butihin bro Romulo queral ang aming lead guitar sa aming groupong THE JOKERS Aparri. Cagayan missing those Happy Day in my younger days
Wow ang dami ding palang Sabit ni Cesar saka ang Bahista niya I Miss you so, noong Araw hi di napupuna yan pero ngayong Digital na ang Sound ay maririnig ang lahat ng Sabit ng Tropa ang Faithful Love ay almost Perfect, good Job Cesar
my grandparents used to play these songs and I forgot what the title is, but now that I've finally heard it, I feel like I'm back again in those years where my grandparents play this song every early morning.

"I Miss You So" What a beautiful and a romantic piece of song back in the 60's. Kung totoo lang ang Time Travel ito ang panahon na aking babalikan. I used to hear this song kapag fiesta sa Tabangao, Batangas malapit sa aplaya back in 1965.
Cesar Manalili has been my classmate for three years, Section One, at Tayug National Public High School in Tayug, Pangasinan. Wow, glad to have stumbled upon your video. I'm so happy to listen to your music classmate! So, you became an amazing recording artist. It's not a surprise at all since you were quite a guitar-star player then in high school. It's been long ago, so you might not even remember who I am. Well, I'm from San Quintin. We were classmates for three years. We graduated in 1962. After graduation, I attended UP Diliman, BS Geology major for a few years until US Navy enlistment. Quite a few of our classmates attended UP, like Erlinda Perico, Rachel Abenojar, Joy Banez, Ernesto Tiu, and Eduardo Co. Never came across any of them except for Erlinda, who was always in a hurry for her next class. No, I did not earn a degree at UP, but I received my AS from Mohegan Community College and BSBA from Columbia in the US with 4.0 GPAs. On the Navy side, I ran into Ferdinand DeDios and his wife, another 62' batch graduate while shopping at a Navy Exchange (department store) in Jacksonville, Florida, years back. I did not recognize him at all, but he and his wife recognized me right away. It was truly embarrassing for me. Quite a humbling experience not to recognize them at all. They both approached me, smiling, so I had to smile back. They really were making fun of me since I was totally an idiot not knowing who they were. They, however, had total advantage since I was in uniform with my nametag and lieutenant bars on. That was fun! Now, I live in Orange Park, Florida, after retiring in 1996. After Navy retirement as a commissioned naval officer, I started my civil service employment as a GS-11 program analyst for the depot rework of the Navy's F-14 aircraft, then moved to another GS-12 logistics manager job for the F/A-18 aircraft Depot rework and upgrades. Complete retirement was actually in 2005 when I left my logistics supervisor and contracting officer job at Chief of Naval Air Training Command in Corpus Christie, Texas, where the navy attack and fighter pilot pipeline is the main mission. Also, some NATO foreign fighter pilots are trained here. Life in the navy was fun. All Filipinos were restricted to ONLY ONE rating (job), which was Stewardsman. I qualified to change my rating through GCT/ARI test scores given to every recruit in Boot Camp to become an airman after three years of service. I went through the enlisted rates (ranks) from recruit E1/2/3 (Stewardsman/Airman), E4,5,6 (Petty Officer), E7/8 (Aviation Storekeeper Chief Petty Officer and Senior Chief Petty Officer), then commissioned naval officers ranks W2, 3, and 4, skipped Ensign to Ltjg then Lieutenant. Most fun assignment: Supply Officer for Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron One (VQ-1) at NAS Agana, Guam. VQ-1 is known as "The World Watchers" with detachments in Bahrain and Diego Garcia. Electronic warfare is the main mission. Most demanding assignments: 1. Material Control Officer (Division Officer) aboard a forward deployed aircraft carrier, USS Midway (CV-41), in Yokosuka, Japan. 2. Fleet Support Officer, NAS Lemoore, California. Pacific Fleet Air Wings' material readiness is the main mission. Most enjoyable enlisted duty stations: 1. USS FORRESTAL (CVA-59), my first duty station after boot camp training in San Diego, California. I was the Wardroom cashier for most of my tour of duty after being a sculleryman, (dishwasher). Yes, dishwasher for two months. Really enjoyed it. It's easier than tending cows and carabaos. Load the dishes in a rack, and then the conveyor takes over into the scullery machine. Then stack the air-dried dishes in cabinets designed to stay rigid for bad weather conditions. Easier even than my ONLY paid job as the vocalist for DeLuxe Orchestra in San Quintin. So, I got paid with pesos before earning the dollar. 2. The other, six years at FAADCLANT (Fleet Aviation and Disbursing Center Atlantic) as an accounting clerk. Six years of "shore duty" spoiled me. I was a junior AK3 when I arrived and departed a senior AK1 ready to become a chief petty officer (CPO). I made the decision at this point to join the TAR Program. It cost me a 5-year career setback going from E6 to E4 in a single night and a chance to advance to Chief Petty Officer. Most amazing city/place visited and sometimes part of a tour group: Venice, Italy. How Venice exists is hard to understand. Most cleanest big city: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Most unfriendly city: Istanbul, Turkey. Most historical city: Athens, Greece. Acropolis is breathtaking in terms of human labor to build the Parthenon. Most primitive and economically poor country: Kingston, Jamaica. Smallest island/country visited: Corfu and Malta. Cuba does not count. Not allowed outside the naval base. Most cities in Europe and the Mediterranean are frequent port visits on deployments. Name a place in the Mediterranean, and most likely, I've been there at least once. Oh, l also did some singing in bars while on liberty. Japan is safe and friendly. Hong Kong is overcrowded. Sundays in HK are reserved for picnics in the parks for Filipinos' day off. Most fun place to shop: anywhere in South Korea. Embarrassing sometimes because bargaining skills are required when shopping. Never pay the first, second, or the third price for the item. Then you feel sorry since the dollar is worth so much, much more. The longest sea voyage is from the US east coast to Olongapo City (yeah, finally the most mentioned favorite port to visit) through South America. Crossed the Equator 4 times, so I am also a Golden Shellback. I also earned the Enlisted Air Warfare Specialist (EAWS) pin/wings. As a Naval officer, I was board-certified and qualified as a Naval Aviation Supply Officer (NASO). I wear the golden NASO wings. I also earned Level I & II Logistics Certifications from DAU (Defense Acquisition University). Career setback: accepted administrative reduction from E6 to E4 to become a TAR (Training and Administration of Reserves), USNR in July 1976. Benefit of the 5-year setback: NO SEA DUTY. Training the Weekend Warriors (US Navy Reservists) is the only mission. Reservists augment active duty personnel when called upon. They must hit the ground running!

Most enjoyable enlisted duty stations:
