All the top 5 finalists were nervous and got fumbled while speaking except for "Kimnunthem Angelika Borah" who spoke without fear and had that elegant smile in her perhaps she answered pretty well without buffering out the words. I don't understand how are the judges analysing the points based on which requirements. I think that the kut committee is being prejudicial in terms of voting for the winner. Congratulations to Teresa Varte but Angelika Borah won people's heart.
Not a fan of Teresa but i think the point system is not based on the individual score of questions in the final round but a culmination of points that were awarded since day 1. Borah or any other contestants might have scored better in the final round but i guess it was not enough to neutralise their points because Teresa scored better in the previous rounds.

Bora gown may also be the reasons, because gown is very important, for me her gown is not the winning gown, She gave the best answer here, Teresa had been doing well since the screening, priliminary. Bora is absolutely fantastic and awesome .....however, to be on top is not looking on single count its all rounded...any way Teresa is one of my promising from the beginning to be on top. Congrats to all the participated and beautiful ❤

Contest 14 deserved atleast 1st runner up. And the title holder should be atleast someone who can be able to represent the tribal people in some neighbouring states. I don't think Teresa deserves the title for that.

I don't see any reason why a lot of you all are making a real hullabaloo about Teresa winning the crown. Yes, she falters a little during the question session, but that's not the only parameter judged. She kept her poise, exudes confidence, her verbal command was not bad (as compared to other contestants) and she had her tactful way of showing "I-own-it" kind of joyful expression. Judging her only based on the 'Paris and Country' thing sounds moronic to me. She made her point clear, though the terms 'Capital' and 'Country' were used interchangeably when it was not supposed to. But hey, the term 'State'(with the capital S) is also used interchangeably with 'country' by the govt, scholars and writers worldwide. (could be a political term, idk). So, I see no big deal there! Let's all stop with the indignant comments already. PS:- Not a fan nor a hater. Just my views!

The judge judged them all according to their performance just because someone has more experience it doesn't mean she should definitely get the crown. They tally up all the marks n that's how we get our miss kut

Just a little clarification. Judges analysed the answers based on the core point of their answers. Speaking good English doesnt mean a perfect answer. Language is just a tool for communication. Sure, Teresa did slipped her tongue when she mistook Paris for a country but that is just a slight mistake which doesn't change the core context of her answer.The judges were willing to let that slide.Plus the point system is not based on the score of the questions in the final round but a culmination of points that were awarded since day 1. By the way,Not a fan of Teresa.I'm just talking from a neutral perspective.
If they speak good english, they will be able to express themselves so much better. Accent is nothing though. In Miss World and Universe pageants, they usually have a translator with them since not everyone is fluent in english. But in this case, the questions were asked in english and i suppose they had to answer in english too, so speaking good english will help them more. Speaking good english has always been our problem too in Mizoram pageants.

If they speak good english, they will be able to express themselves so much better. Accent is nothing though. In Miss World and Universe pageants, they usually have a translator with them since not everyone is fluent in english. But in this case, the questions were asked in english and i suppose they had to answer in english too, so speaking good english will help them more. Speaking good english has always been our problem too in Mizoram pageants.

First off all judges do know what they actually doing...They fumble yet Kimnunthem bora doesn't but she kinda spoke something not actually related with the question..so she was opted out. Anyone can be nervous but answer should be what the judges want
