Very good review Saumil. The points about missing 6th gear for highway cruising and road noise are very much true and my sore points with this car.

Very bad auto maker’s policy as just change the logos and sells identical vehicles. Toyota and Maruthi must copy Hyundai and Kia auto maker’s policy, they are share platforms only and create new vehicles with best look and feels.
Despite popular opinion, I honestly feel Toyota variants (both glanza and UC) look better than their siblings.
I think Suzuki is limiting the changes just to badges. Otherwise, Toyota could've done a better job.
First baleno now brezza next Ertiga then WagonR after that Alto then eeco again after that omni 😁😂😂

What cud b better than those concluding words YOU JUST CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS CAR..👍 No doubt a bigger naturally aspirated engine,(with minimal maintenance & drive disciplines as compared to a TURBO engine), 4star safety, no nonsense features, satisfactory pricing, sales n service of Toyota/maruti, equal spacing .....😎

Why is Toyota unable to make a CompactSUV and what makes them unfit to manufacture a CompactSUV as they can manufacture a Rugged SUV like Fortuner atleast they could have made a Compact Fortuner rather than Brezza Ditto

I bought my Brezza on July 2016 when it was launched
It will be better if Maruti Suzuki launches with
Six air bags
Rear disc brakes
Ventilated seats
Rear AC vents
Front parking sensors
I'm very happy by owning it. The best car at this price even I met with an accident and I've survived because of it's built quality

Actually urban cruiser looks good imo
Planning to buy breeza but now will go to cruiser. Because of grill it's new fresh and Toyota name. With a 1lac km waranty.
So mind bogglingly different from the Brzza.

An Interesting review for sure and I think I will agree with you, this is not a dynamic exciting SUV to drive, I drove one the other day, in my opinion, its an OK car to drive but in no way does it excite my soul.
I will never buy these, will buy a proper Toyota vehicle only

Same engine specs. Body design is good but engine could be a better one. Atleast 5 speed AT was needed.
All companies are doing their best to get a slice of SUV segment while Toyota can only come with rebadged Suzuki

100kph @ 3000rpm is not good news for highway cruisers. 6th gear should have been given

this 1 will in no way give you any kind of excitement, safety (no ESP, Curtain Airbags, Less Child seat safety)! if you want performance + safety, go for XUV 300, if you want a good under thigh support, and different driving modes + good boot space & All safety features go for Nexon!

For a 2020 Year car - 100km/h at 3000 RPM, My first gen figo with a 68bhp TDCI does this in 2400 RPM with enough grunt and at 3000 RPM it runs at 120km/h. Sigh!!
You are comparing diesel with petrol engine! Diesels usually cruise at a mich lower rpm than petrols. For an example , diesel Brezza cruises 100 kmph at 2100 rpm and 120 at 2600

To me Urban Cruiser front looks more better than Brezza. If were to buy I would definitely buy from Toyota than Maruti. Toyota offer better Warranty package also.

Sad to see Toyota loosing it's tag of a "RELIABLE" car manufacturer by partnering with Suzuki. Rather than bringing new products they are just re-branding existing products of other manufacturer and also replacing their existing OEM vendors with Suzuki vendors.

Brezza doesn't gets a sunroof.. If Toyota could offer a sunroof then the sale unit of Urban Cruiser could have increase then the brezza.. We want Toyota to offer rear ac vents and sunroof so that the customers of compact suv can choose the Urban Cruiser blindly.. I think venue is the best option for compact suv yet as this car doesn't have any demerits

The brezza doesn't get a diesel engine, no turbo petrol engine, less features compared to competition, and most of the maruti cars are nothing but a tin can(not brezza)
Still they are the number one manufacturer in India
