Helicopter pilot/engineer/ AME/A&P of 30+ years here. Put the Rotax 582 engine back in the snowmobile and live to love your family.
BTW get a copy of FAA AC 41-30 to learn how to properly lock wire a turn buckle.
Technically it flew by venture of leaving the ground. I'll give you that.
    Bee Safe.

It seems to be a tall top heavy unmanagble contraption,if you have collective pitch, you might as well go the whole hog and have swash plates, and and have cyclic control, forget the wieght shift, and it wieghs over 400ibs empty, best of luck..Peter

You've lost a lot of leverage for control by having the engine mounted to the rotor section. And you've created a lot of inertia to delay response; there's a larger moment arm because of the far spacing of engine and counter-balancing components.
If you haven't already, I suggest you let this particular design go. It's a dead end. I think it's cool that you actually built it and test-flew it, though.

This defeats all logic of stability and safety. You have to make these factors work for you not against you.
