Hey there. My husband was an avid watcher of your channel and loved that you always gave the Lord credit at the end of your videos. He sent you a few wooden trivets and was thrilled when he saw them on the counter in your home. He loved being in the garage with his scrollsaw. He is now in the arms of Jesus. I just wanted you to know how much he appreciated you. And your Mom..
Love that you pray before you take off! I ask the Lord to let the angels carry each corner of my car before I take off. :). The blue water cruisers that I watch call those "dolphin" fish dorado.
Stephen you outdid yourself for the 4th. You make me nervous way out there by yourself. Seeing a frigate and catching Dolphin makes for a great day. God Bless my fellow veteran.😎
We love your channel so much! It's awesome to watch someone make a living doing what they're passionate about. Please take care of your health as well! I've noticed you get out of breath easily.
I love when the water is glass smooth and the sunrise or sunset shines upon it, it reminds you that you are just a very small fish in a very big universe. It hurts it is so beautiful! Good stuff.
I love your videos Brother, and I feel compelled to say something very important…especially with you mentioning safety devices in this video: No one ever expects to go overboard…but it happens. It’s even more dangerous when you’re boating solo. Choosing to not wear your kill-switch lanyard is a potentially deadly decision under any conditions. Even when you’re just trolling, if you lose your balance and fall overboard you will never be able to get back to your boat. Just a psa because it was obvious that you weren’t wearing it while you were trolling today.
As always a great video. You’re a great person and you clearly had a solid upbringing. Thanks for taking the time to make these I always watch your videos when I need some blue water therapy
Hey Steven, love the vids man. Been watching for about a year now and enjoy them all. Little tip for trolling on outboard boats that has helped me with getting bites is to trim your motor up a good ways to kill some of the prop wash. Gives cleaner water behind the boat. But obviously how you do it is woking, just giving a tip from my experience. Keep on putting out vids man, love them.👍
Great tip..In no way trying to be a jerk or something,, Just thought you might like to know something that I didn't for awhile before someone told me,, But he spells his name Stephen..Just trying to be helpful,, I mean no disrespect or trying to be a Know-It-All,, etc. "Happy"
I had not seen a video of yours for a while and was getting concerned. So happy for the new video and to know all is well with you. Great and thanks as always, I watch all of your videos!!
Stunningly beautiful day on the water and to top it off you're coming home with dinner it can't get any better. Supposedly what we know of frigate birds is limited they can stay in the air for at least a couple of months and even sleep as they glide, and when the dorado and frigate birds both are working the flying fish its an amazing sight the bird will even pick the fish out of the air as they glide away from the dorado
Watching this video as I clean pompano me and my kids caught this morning with your pompano surf rigs. Great day of fishing, love the channel and content
I am a Native Floridian & Was taught as a child,, When you see more than 7 Frigatebirds inshore at one time,, There is bad weather coming & It has always been 100% true.
As a Oregonian, we're taught that if you hear and see a bunch of seagulls inland, there is a front coming in within 24 hours. Always a properly stormy one. Always true.
Another great video. I cant get out saltwater fishing like I'd like to, but the way you include the viewers and your style of videos makes it feel like we're out there with ya. That fried mahi looked so good! Keep em comin!
Happy 4th to you & your family Stephen... Loved the video as always,, The only part that i DIDN'T LIKE was me not being there to help you eat all those Mahi Mahi. 🐟 👀👅❤
As you said,, Eating Mahi Mahi anyway is great,, But eating Mahi Mahi steaks broiled with garlic herb butter is definitely a one way ticket to Yummsville!! ❤ 🐟 ❤
Fantastic video! Always look forward to a Bama Saltwater Video Drop! Awesome day of fishing with some tasty fish to bring home! Congrats and hope you had a Happy 4th!
Very good video!! You must have a very secure sense of all the boating necessity and how You explain how you rig your bait from live to artificial or a combo rig. May the good Lord bless you and keep you .
Hi Stephen. I just found your channel and I enjoy your videos. I had my first surf fishing success last weekend. I was fishing in Anglesea, a southern coast town on mainland Australia, and I landed 5 Australian salmon in the hour before sunset. 3 were keepers, 2 went back. Keep up the good work. Kind regards Michael
Hello sir. I love to watch your videos. My passion for fishing is freshwater. I have learned a bit about the fish that you have caught, I have not gone saltwater fishing on the coast. Really fun time
Great catching trip and then cooking and eating, Stephen. Got me drooling again. Sure would like to go out with you sometime, you are just a bit over 300 miles west of me down I 10.
If you haven't tried it, mahi is really good cooked Cayman Style. You can Google the recipe. Excellent! Love the videos! Keep fishing and have a Blessed day!
Great job! We went out on the 4th also a little southeast of you and had a great day but the Tax man kept getting our Red Snapper. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
Maaan, I absolutely love all of your videos! I’m in south MS and I’d love to meet up and fish together! Thanks for your service and thanks for all the great content! My little family love watching your adventures!
Continue to love your videos. Never tried your recipe for frying fish. I'll give that a try. Very easy to mix up. Blessings brother form Milton, Florida.
I've been watching your videos for a couple years, big fan! Probably a dumb question, why don't you spike these fish, just put them on ice? I've seen you bleed out fish, just wondered? Wow, those were awesome birds! Awe, you made me so hungry, I can almost taste it, especially the hush puppies!
Considering what you looked like when cleaning the fish & what you looked like when starting to cook,, I'm guessing that you must of shaved with the 7 inch filet knife too! 🤪
I really think you should make a mallick (sp?) Redemption video, where you guys go wahoo fishing and have Mallick gaff all of them. It was so sad when that one broke off at the gaff and Mallick felt so bad.
Buddy and I caught a 50lb king, 38" jack crevalle, mahi and a cuda trolling mullet with a weighted mylar skirt and wire leader + trailer treble hook. We chucked that out there and trolled at 4-5 mph and they didn't last more than 30 seconds in the water. Also, this was out of Ponce Inlet so the troll is kinda tough.

I sure am envious stuck up here in Ga having to fresh water fish. Nothing is as good as salt water.
Glad to see the safety equipment. And fish of course. Thanks
That is a different approach to breading and one I will surely try. Looks like a lot of good flavor there.
It's a change up for sure, well worth trying. I highly recommend it with some fresh peeled and deveined shrimp too!!
Your catch and cook videos are my favorites hope you can start including the recipes in the future!!
Eating grilled cobia watching you catch and cook Mahi....staves off my mouth watering over lunch!

The water color and lack of sargassum this year has made it tough!!!

Do you use buoy data to make go/no go decision before going offshore? If so, what data is most important?
I use that along with other forecasting references
Buddy and I caught a 50lb king, 38" jack crevalle, mahi and a cuda trolling mullet with a weighted mylar skirt and wire leader + trailer treble hook. We chucked that out there and trolled at 4-5 mph and they didn't last more than 30 seconds in the water. Also, this was out of Ponce Inlet so the troll is kinda tough.
I should mention I had two treble hooks, the weighted mylar butted up to the first treble hook
