Hey man! You and Southern Salt are killing it with the gulf coast content. If the two of you collaborated, many of us would absolutely love it!
Hey thanks for adding little more of the ride! The man listens to his people wish you all the best!
Bro is so chill but so estatic at the same time 😂
Haha, I just enjoy being out !! and I love to fish
@@BamaSaltwater yeah this weekend I caught my pb mahi
Man you out there living the dream, Thank you for your service
Thank you, it was an Honor
What a great way to celebrate America independence!! Fishing!!
thats what i did😂
It’s hot as blazes here in Georgia. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy the 4th.
I’m a big fan of your videos man keep it up. God bless you and your family!
Love that you pray before you take off! I ask the Lord to let the angels carry each corner of my car before I take off. :). The blue water cruisers that I watch call those "dolphin" fish dorado.
love your content neighbor! keep doin what you do we are all proud of you
As always a great video. You’re a great person and you clearly had a solid upbringing. Thanks for taking the time to make these I always watch your videos when I need some blue water therapy
We love your channel so much! It's awesome to watch someone make a living doing what they're passionate about. Please take care of your health as well! I've noticed you get out of breath easily.
Allergies suck lol
Stephen you outdid yourself for the 4th. You make me nervous way out there by yourself. Seeing a frigate and catching Dolphin makes for a great day. God Bless my fellow veteran.😎
I am a Native Floridian & Was taught as a child,, When you see more than 7 Frigatebirds inshore at one time,, There is bad weather coming & It has always been 100% true.
As a Floridian I was taught the same and had the same experience.
As a Oregonian, we're taught that if you hear and see a bunch of seagulls inland, there is a front coming in within 24 hours. Always a properly stormy one. Always true.
I sure am envious stuck up here in Ga having to fresh water fish. Nothing is as good as salt water.
I love when the water is glass smooth and the sunrise or sunset shines upon it, it reminds you that you are just a very small fish in a very big universe. It hurts it is so beautiful! Good stuff.
1000% for sure, its an amazing feeling that you thank the good Lord for everyday!
Thums up as soon as I heard "say a quick prayer before we head out there." Keep on killin' it brother.
You know it!! Blessed to wake up everyday !!! Thank you!
Catch and cook WOOOO
Eating grilled cobia watching you catch and cook Mahi....staves off my mouth watering over lunch!
I had not seen a video of yours for a while and was getting concerned. So happy for the new video and to know all is well with you. Great and thanks as always, I watch all of your videos!!
I try to upload weekly if the fishing is good! Thanks !!
As a fellow but older Bamer, you are a great ambassador for our state. Lots of knowledge in that noggin of yours. You should run for mayor. RTR.
Glad to see the safety equipment. And fish of course. Thanks
Your catch and cook videos are my favorites hope you can start including the recipes in the future!!
Stunningly beautiful day on the water and to top it off you're coming home with dinner it can't get any better.
Supposedly what we know of frigate birds is limited they can stay in the air for at least a couple of months and even sleep as they glide, and when the dorado and frigate birds both are working the flying fish its an amazing sight the bird will even pick the fish out of the air as they glide away from the dorado
Thank you for the Awesome videos!
-Cliff
Thanks for your continued support!!!
Great video! As a landlocked fisherman, I appreciate the offshore vids
Another great video. I cant get out saltwater fishing like I'd like to, but the way you include the viewers and your style of videos makes it feel like we're out there with ya. That fried mahi looked so good! Keep em comin!
Happy 4th to you & your family Stephen...
Loved the video as always,, The only part that i DIDN'T LIKE was me not being there to help you eat all those Mahi Mahi. 🐟 👀👅❤
Keep up the good work
As you said,, Eating Mahi Mahi anyway is great,, But eating Mahi Mahi steaks broiled with garlic herb butter is definitely a one way ticket to Yummsville!! ❤ 🐟 ❤
Thanks for taking me alone today. Enjoyed this vid and content. Come one people let's get Bama Saltwater to 200k Subs.
Beautiful cinematography. 😊
Fun,Fun,Fun, Enjoy the great life as you love it, I love to watch your videos, keep them coming.....Mike
Love the explanation of everything you are doing!
I just got skunked at the creek this morning but I’m looking forward to eating my lunch while watching you catch yours now!
Always a good day when he posts
I love your videos Brother, and I feel compelled to say something very important…especially with you mentioning safety devices in this video:
No one ever expects to go overboard…but it happens. It’s even more dangerous when you’re boating solo. Choosing to not wear your kill-switch lanyard is a potentially deadly decision under any conditions. Even when you’re just trolling, if you lose your balance and fall overboard you will never be able to get back to your boat.
Just a psa because it was obvious that you weren’t wearing it while you were trolling today.
Hey Steven, love the vids man. Been watching for about a year now and enjoy them all. Little tip for trolling on outboard boats that has helped me with getting bites is to trim your motor up a good ways to kill some of the prop wash. Gives cleaner water behind the boat. But obviously how you do it is woking, just giving a tip from my experience. Keep on putting out vids man, love them.👍
Great tip..In no way trying to be a jerk or something,, Just thought you might like to know something that I didn't for awhile before someone told me,, But he spells his name Stephen..Just trying to be helpful,, I mean no disrespect or trying to be a Know-It-All,, etc.

@@happymethehappyone8300 oh i genuinely had no idea. i'll spell it correctly next time lol
@@connor..... I just thought that maybe you would want to know.

Watching this video as I clean pompano me and my kids caught this morning with your pompano surf rigs. Great day of fishing, love the channel and content
Heck yeah!! Good fishing and eats right there!!! Thank you!
That is a different approach to breading and one I will surely try. Looks like a lot of good flavor there.
It's a change up for sure, well worth trying. I highly recommend it with some fresh peeled and deveined shrimp too!!
Not only did I enjoy the video I learned a few things!! Awesome stuff my friend!!
this channel put bama on my fishing list

Hi Stephen. I just found your channel and I enjoy your videos. I had my first surf fishing success last weekend. I was fishing in Anglesea, a southern coast town on mainland Australia, and I landed 5 Australian salmon in the hour before sunset. 3 were keepers, 2 went back. Keep up the good work. Kind regards Michael
You are the best !!!
Maaan, I absolutely love all of your videos! I’m in south MS and I’d love to meet up and fish together! Thanks for your service and thanks for all the great content! My little family love watching your adventures!

I can't believe you go out there that far by yourself. I would have to have 2 engine's on my boat.

Yummy, that fish looks delicious!
First Team brother!!!! Love all your Videos, specially when you pray and “thanks Our Good LORD UP ABOVE” Blessings brother.

Great video the cooking of the fish made me hungry.👍💪💪
Considering what you looked like when cleaning the fish & what you looked like when starting to cook,, I'm guessing that you must of shaved with the 7 inch filet knife too! 🤪
😂😂😂😂😂
@@MamaSaltwater Hello Mom,, A big fan of yours as well,, Love to see you both fishing together.

Happy 4th sir! God bless
This was great your video made me feel like I was there on the boat with you 🎉😊
That's what I love to hear and share!!
Continue to love your videos. Never tried your recipe for frying fish. I'll give that a try. Very easy to mix up. Blessings brother form Milton, Florida.
Definitely worth trying !! Stop by Joe Patties and grab some fresh shrimp and use that same recipe. Fry for 3 minutes, it's amazing!!
If you haven't tried it, mahi is really good cooked Cayman Style. You can Google the recipe. Excellent! Love the videos! Keep fishing and have a Blessed day!
Mahi killer. Great trip man
Buddy and I caught a 50lb king, 38" jack crevalle, mahi and a cuda trolling mullet with a weighted mylar skirt and wire leader + trailer treble hook. We chucked that out there and trolled at 4-5 mph and they didn't last more than 30 seconds in the water. Also, this was out of Ponce Inlet so the troll is kinda tough.
I should mention I had two treble hooks, the weighted mylar butted up to the first treble hook
I like the offset rod holders
Heck yeah man
MERICAAAAA 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Mahi makes great shashimi!!❤❤❤
The beard is looking good man!
Edited because you trimmed up before cooking lol
Thanks again!
Just found your channel 🫡 love the videos
Bought some pompano rigs of yours at hooked up bait and tackle on the fourth! Didn’t have much luck but was my first time had a couple shark but nothing good. Or not what I wanted had a blast until the weather got rough.
Love all your videos you're a hoot would love to fish with you
Why do I always get so hungry while watching your videos!!!
Haha I feel the same way when editing, even though I was there LOL
Went out to the Fads as well, in a blue Cobia 296. Caught 4 about the same size on the fad. Not a single bite trolling.
The water color and lack of sargassum this year has made it tough!!!
I've got that combat patch myself!
Amen brother
I've been watching your videos for a couple years, big fan! Probably a dumb question, why don't you spike these fish, just put them on ice? I've seen you bleed out fish, just wondered? Wow, those were awesome birds! Awe, you made me so hungry, I can almost taste it, especially the hush puppies!
I was wondering the same thing.
Great job! We went out on the 4th also a little southeast of you and had a great day but the Tax man kept getting our Red Snapper. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
Tax man has been tough!! But it's their home and not mine lol. Thank you!
