One of Jennifer's biggest mistakes was thinking Scott couldn't break through the mountain ash the second time. He was trying to save his boss the first time. He was saving his mother the second time. There is nothing Scott wouldn't do for Melissa and Stilinski. Also, Stiles loves to say he isn't a hero but he is always saving people. I can't wait for you to start 3B!

I love that in season 1 Stiles said to Scott: Why do you have a bat?! And the same with Scottts mom later in s2? : Why do you have a bat? Does anyone of you even play baseball?! And now he uses a bat for everything xD Even upgraded to aluminum when his wooden bat got destroyed xD
Scott finally becoming the true alpha is one of my favorite moments in this show. It also shows how much he's grown as a character since season 1.

Deucalion still stands up as a terrifying villain. Jennifer RIPPED through all the other alphas no problem, barely made a breeze against him.

This is my favorite season finale in the show. I adored the beginning of this episode! It was a beautiful way of showing how much the trio has grown by going back to the very first episode.
It may seem like Peter is just sitting/standing around but if you go back or in future pay attention to Peter in the background, he is always plotting. I think the actor does a great job with his facial expressions. Great reaction 😄.
Deucalion is the klaus of this universe, obviously any of the originals would stomp him, but he’s still very scary and cool of a character

Deucalion was a big disappointment.
We barely see him fight this episode and his beast form.
I expected so much more and still think he was beaten too easily.
He is more like a Mikael Mikaelson. Hyped up for many episodes just to be a disappointment and beaten.

The scene of Scott actually breaking the mountain ash this time, and his eyes turning red, is one of the best scenes imo.

I had to come back to say The demon wolf & Peter had some dope ass lines, “It won’t do anything to the color of mines allow me!” & Peter with🗣 “I’ve always been the alpha!” He does always convince them to go with his plan 🤣🤣🤣 & he’s the reason Scott is a werewolf’ Lydia is a banshee 🤷🏾♀️🤣
Edit: Derek used his power to bring Cora back like giving her some of his life force that’s why he lost his alpha status because she was dying. You have to kill an alpha to take their alpha status.

The backstory is that Jennifer/Julia and Kali had been lovers as well as alpha and emissary, which of course is an additional level of betrayal when Kali murdered her pack.

@@kaivdm04 it was either Jennifer’s actor or Jeff. It was during an interview and mentioned how they wanted to make it more explicit in that they had been together, but either weren’t allowed to or there wasn’t a good place for it.

Duecalion transformation is so badass. I was never a fan of teen wolf transformation cause to me they just look like elf with sideburns (wolverine elf) but this episode with duecalion...I have no complaints.

Fun fact: Jeff Davis didn't want long seasons because he felt they would drag on and need too much filler, so when MTV requested a 24 episode season he decided to cut in in half and write two seasons.

First episode I ever watched was Motel California. I was hooked after that. I was maybe 11-12, I’ll be 20 at the end of march. I was terrified through the whole thing. The day this episode was aired I binged season 3 the whole day. Before 3b came out I got season 1-2-3 on dvd and binged it. As a 10 year old I thought it was a horror show. Now I can say it gets a little horror from here on out. BEST SHOW EVER.!! Love watching you reacting to this Jer. I get so excited for this. Can’t wait for more.

Derek didn't give his "alphaness" (or however that's called haha) to Cora, its just that because he was an alpha he had a "spark of power" which he "used" in order to save Cora, so she wouldn't die. So that's where his power went. It just made sense to me this would happen on the same episode Scott became the alpha as their pack was naturally being organized around him anyway (even Derek)

Okay Jennifer lowkey is a nice villain I wish they wrote it better and made her stronger, or at least didn’t kill her for a comeback. We don’t like her but we understand her reasoning, she’s a good character (and like said the actress is lowkey really good at her job)
Regarding Peter... he has this complex of always being the one to see the board and have the plan to always be ahead, even if there’s no reason. He’s always been super manipulative even if there isn’t an end goal he likes having it mapped out in case he’ll ever need a change of a certain situation. So hes always in the background being useless but also hes constantly paying attention

Derek & Stiles saving the day again making them the 2 best GOAT characters in the whole show! Derek sacrificed himself again to distract Jenifer long enough for the lunar eclipse to be over, to get their powers back and defect her just like he did with Cora & Boyd when he was saving her life! Love him so much! Cant wait for 3B, such an epic season! And for my new GOAT character to finally arrive!

SEASON 3B LETS GOOO
So I don't know if you'll see this (and it's been awhile since I watched the show so I may be a little off) but for the Alpha thing and how it works: So you're right in a sense that being the alpha doesn't really matter because as Derek said anyone can change positions and alphas can fall. An alpha is the alpha because they are the most powerful in the group, so when Derek saved Cora he gave up his extra power (that made him an alpha) and put the two of them on more equal footing because she was losing her own as she was dying.
Scott being a true alpha means that he has that power already inside him and doesn't need to borrow the strength of an alpha to protect himself. In a way the show has been building to that from S1E1 because we've seen Scott continuously reject Derek and reject Peter because he was good on his own. And even when he "joined" Derek's pack in season 2, Scott never followed him the way the others did. Derek couldn't command Scott like he did Isaac, and we even saw Scott go so far as to command Isaac even before his eye change.
This is why I love this show because you can see the plot lines and exposition being set up WAY in advance of things happening. Nothing feels like it's a write off which is rare in a show

Also on your comment about the twins you can't kill a werewolf by breaking their neck. Infact they really shouldn't have been down so long if it weren't for the fact that it was a total eclipse they wouldn't been but it also took their of alpha whatever to keep them alive. These episodes for a lot about sacrifice.

Also it’s always bugged me that Deucalion says 9 lives or 12 now… 12 are already dead (virgins, warriors, healers, and philosophers) the last 3 parents would make it 15 (that’s something that’s just always bugged me about that scene 😂
