Hii I'm trying to host my ionic app as a website and I have the backend in nodeJS , how can I accomplish hosting two projects as a single project preferably on firebase but anywhere else works.
Hey buddy! thanks for the tutorial, i'm stucked after press enter selecting HOSTING, why? i cannot move with my arrows there, do you know why? thanks
It was a bug, sorry ;)
You are a god for the videos you make. How can I donate to you? You deserve it
I run the Ionic Academy, so you could subscribe there to give back if you want to :)
When I use $ ionic build --prod --release I get the error "Property 'dev_mode' is private and only accessible within class 'SettingsPage'." This doesn't happen when I'm running $ ionic serve. It seems like I need to make variables or functions public if I want to use them in the template.page.html for the page.ts ?
When you run a prod build the TS checks are more script, so fix the TS linting errors that appear during that build and then your code is fine!
Hello, you class is so prefect, but I have a problem about "firebase login", could you please help me solve this problem,,,
every time I change my ionic app I need to upload a new version to App Store, there is a way to load the HTML and CSS content from URL dynamically?
There is. Ionic itself has a tool for the job, but it is ludicrously expensive. If you search for free alternatives all of them are either deprecated or poorly documented. The current viable plugin is the App Update on Ionic Native plugins. There's no interest in making it usable... But good luck buddy. Please come back if you got it to work, will help thousands devs :)
Fastlane
fastlane.tools/
As Lisa said, Fastlane is a tool that you can configure that basically handles everything with one command after initial setup. I had a tutorial on this in the past, if it's interesting I'll create a new version for v4!
@@galaxies_dev Yes please!!!! :)
what if i want to call it from my normal website? like mysite.com/clients_login and not the the whole mysite.com ?
Then you would have to upload it into the according sub folder on your hosting. But I think you also need to change the baseUrl in the index.html in those cases..
that coffee must be cold af hahah
Haha yeah it's usually cold when I'm into recording my videos :D
I am new to hosting app as website. never hosted anything before. So Is there something else which should be done before http-server bcoz when i run http-server I get the error "http-server. : The term 'http-server.' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct"
http-server is a npm package for local testing (or on a server), so you have to install it on your computer first! That's why your system can't find "http-server" as a command.
Its stuck on the firebase hosting setup complete screen....
i'm first today
