Tip: if you installed codeblocks with mingw-setup.exe and doesn't work just do these steps from the video:
1) open codeblocks
2) click settings - in the upper side
3) click compiler
4) click Toolchain executables
5) click autodetect and ok

In linux atleast in ubuntu you can install gcc directly using sudo apt

You can also go to Settings - Compiler - Toolchain executables - and select autodetect in case you installed it but it is still searching for MinGW outside the CodeBlocks folder.

turns out all i needed to do was click "auto-detect" and the setting will find an already-existing MinGW within my CodeBlocks folder.
I didn't need to download another MinGW, proof of this is that I deleted the installation from this video, and it works. THANKS anyway!!!

I have a problem. After I installed everything I needed to enter the code blocks I go to the compliant and there I click on auto detect and it appears to me that no compliant was found

Thanks, really helped me out. Before I saw your video, I did try to install manually the compiler without the setup build but it didn't create the required bin folder for CodeBlocs to work, idk why. Anyway, thanks.
