On one hand, Warren talks about how easy supply is gonna come onstream when referring to the potential oversupply. But when talking about Nexgen coming into production, suddenly the reality of how tough it is to get a mine up and going, strikes him
The whole private owned uranium being sold is crap. He did slip that if they are short uranium, it would be a reason to do it… can’t have it both ways.
He doesnt know as much about Uranium as he thinks he does and has been wrong in the past 18 months. Many of his predictions are based on lazy and outdated assumptions
I'm keen about Colonial Coal, and own it, but I didn't get it for 30c. What Warren seems to overlook is that the mining companies close to production can only make small contributions, and never has any uranium mine come on line quickly. He is wrong to say that reactor construction is very slow. China and Russia are building reactors all over the world. He keeps telling us how much money he made by being early in uranium. Now he just said there's expansion going on at all the major U miners - except for the biggest, of course. I wouldn't take advice from Warren.
I assume Quakes, but I doubt he's being paid. He just strikes me as... overly enthusiastic, I guess, maybe a bit obsessed. Nothing I haven't seen for any other stock. And I wouldn't consider him particularly effective at pumping anything other than emojis.
Unfortunately Canada have another year of government intervention to go before the next election. The problem with ESG investing is that it relies heavily on government policy and government subsidies, both of which can evaporate overnight with a change to a reality government that understands where 'stuff' comes from.
He said 1 billion lbs of uranium is out there waiting. Sweden has been ready to raise the moratorium for over a year now… think that’s where his investment is perhaps?
No doubt an intelligent investor but when you compare his predictions for the uranium market over the last two years it makes me think he doesn't know the market as well as he thinks. Then you compare this to Justins Huhns predictions! Cant criticize someone for underestimating the performance of a market where everyone overestimates everything. Respect to sticking to his thesis
One point, the Supreme Court overturned the Chevron precedent. DOE could not force SPUT to sell through regulation; it would require an act of congress.
sadly, the Alberta gov't has sterilized met coal exploration in the province. I have heard Alberta Gov't is facing a law suit from GR for recovery of exploration expenditures, license costs and loss of opportunity.
juniors don't generally build tier 1 deposits? Generally true, however there are exceptions, PLS being one example. Albermarle must be kicking their own arse, thinking "how did we ever let that happen".
It is probs quite simple Wazza .... is Rio a Chinese company?? No ... ok, so, i'm thinking there will be no dramas whatsoever with Rio making a bid for Teck if it wanted to!!!

NXE? is anyone surprised when management is entrenched? Looks like a lifestyle company to me. Makes Fission's Dev Randhowa look like an angel;-)
One minute he’s talking about over supply next force majeure

I guess that’s why we have buyers and sellers.
Anyone know what this guys fund has returned p.a.? Couldn't find any info on it. He seems to be very confident in his own abilities.
I may not agree with Warren regarding the Uranium thesis, but he does raise a few things to consider. One being Canadian politicians.
I think he made $90 million, but not sure, he didn’t say it enough 😂

Watching Trav’s face while Warren talks about Nexgen sponsorships 🤣 priceless
Yeah he couldn't look at the camera .... obviously they are on the drip for the same thing (maybe not Nexgen, but certainly others)
You 're gonna be brilliant, Trav, when you're old. 😅
Hahaha thanks cobba!
So he's loading up on U!

Think he owns a Swediah play...i could be wrong
There are two. District Metals and Aura Energy. Pretty low graded deposits.
In another recent interview he said he owns District Metals & hyped it.
You should have asked him does he hold any positions in GPM metals, Storm Exploration, Aura Energy?

😂 for one small moment I thought that you'd have an endangered Kiwi miner on the show. Boyz your Ditch is bigger than our one!

Thanks.
Is NXE also permitting a uranium mill?
Unbelievable interview

Haha….”in the shower today”….????😂
Holy shit .. big wazza .. nexgen F1 sponsorship is a bloody disgrace though.
Agreed. It makes you wonder about the management.
Makes me sad for my uranium haha
Warren is the goat of commonsense
In parts, yes. But his uranium advice is badly founded.
1000 PLV coal?! Yikes 😮
THANKS FROM SA
Why does he hate U so much?
Grow up, not everyone has to have the same view
He explained why pretty clearly
He doesn't hate U. He just doesn't think it's going to the moon
Having sold up, he wants uranium to fall to prove he was right.
Strange choice the guests are normally brilliant.
Wazza is a GC
