Thank you for this enlightening teaching. It brings up for me my own recent repentance, baptism, and coming back to my faith in Jesus and relationship with Him. I definitely would be toast if it were not for Jesus' sacrifice. ❤🙏

    This is sooooooo cool!
Thank you.... getting the insight into what God is saying and how God feels only makes me appreciate what the LORD did at the Cross..partly( and probably mainly, but not completely limited to) sin that I struggle with, but also how God holds Himself ( rightly so) ...that He's not a joke.... He's not someone you can pull the wool over ....
I used to really be fascinated with the power of God that the prophet's weilded ... having gone through a lot bullies at school and domestic violence at home ....I wanted this!... Even the title sounds pretty cool .."prophet of the LORD".....to be able to say, with authority, This says the LORD!!!!.... But now, more than ever...I want His love and Grace... His goodness and Mercy... don't deny me these LORD please....for these, are the true treasures
Thank you for the lessons Pastor,

Helen Roseveare (a missionary in Congo) who went into an awful trial and hardship for serving the people of that land…when she was weary in her pain…she felt the Lord was asking her: ‘will you thank me for what you’re going through now even if I don’t tell you why?’ ….She did (reluctantly but she did)…the Lord in HIs mercy showed her why later on….and she learnt that it is a privilege to suffer for Christ.

30:57 in verse 26 there is a massively different implication in my NASB. Makes more sense. Here it is 'and I pronounced them unclean because of their gifts, in that they caused all their firstborn to pass through the fire so that I might make them desolate, in order that they might know that I am the LORD.”’

The Mosaic Law was given because the ancient Hebrews couldn't manage the covenant of the Promise given to Abraham, I think. It was never meant to give life and no one was ever saved through practicing the Mosaic Law. It was plan B.
    ...
I agree with the pastor, it never entered God's mind for people to sacrifice their children- what an abhorrent practice.
    ....
31:14 God does not defile people- I think this is a low-quality passage of that translation. Compare with "I pronounced them unclean because of their gifts in that they caused all their firstborn to pass through the fire[...]"

God bless you for your efforts. I really enjoy your interpretation of bible however. I have one comment
In Nebuchadnezzar time, Babylon was ruled by the Chaldean empire. I noticed that you often mention that Babylon was under Persian empire.

Ancient Egypt has a lot in common with Detroit.
    Fell into ruin, never rebuilt.
