The Astley family are a very talented lot. There’s Virginia, brother Jon - a record producer- and father Ted Astley- composer of many a 60s theme tune. Virginia was in the Ravishing Beauties with Nicky Holland and Kate St John. No Need to Cry is an unbelievable song.
Still have this 12" in my wardrobe, turntable ling gone sadly...Virginia paints pictures with memorable music, how extraordinary. Once heard, never forgotten..

Blimey, what's going on with my head? There I was minding my own business and then all of a sudden Virginia Astley popped into my head! I have this 12" in my attic, and the last time I played it or even thought about her was....in 1985! So I just HAD to see if she made it to RUclips, and sure enough...... I have another one of her records (archaic name that) but for the life of me I cannot remember what it is, or how I even managed to stumble upon her tracks all those millions of years ago.
Second Unit Aerials Well this came out between From Gardens Where We Feel Secure (1983) and Hope In A Darkened Heart (1986). I would guess you have one of those two. I'm glad YT could oblige your stroll down memory lane.
+Second Unit Aerials i will ask my brother he will have both albums! lol he introduced me to this beautiful artist when i was 13 I'm 42 now, he was 24 and going through some pretty cruel stuff from my father who was evil to him i will never forget he broke him man i will always love my brother and worry about him as u do as much as he's a pain in the arse!!! ;)
