EA does this every year - they increase the odds of landing a really high card after April to get people to think that they just had "bad luck" all year and next year will be different so they will keep spending money on packs. All year long after opening up 4 packs at the bare minimum diamond level for HUT Rivals rewards every single week the best player I got was a 91 Jagr early on but since then didn't pull a single player above 86. Suddenly I opened my Rivals reward packs this week (I pick the non tradable for double the chances for a good card) and suddenly I land a 93 AND a 92. Coincidence? Absolutely not. I have seen this happen each and every single year where you will get a massive uptick in highly rated players at the end of the season.
