nowadays u can use the normal summon and link in main phase 2 with the 1 monster normal summoned this turn, and you get ez sangan/emissary search.
This was the most painful thing I've watched in a long time. Good deck, bad pilot.

At the time he only had three pieces, so he used Cardcar's effect, which ends your turn after activation.
He still could have used Sangan for suicide the turn after and have won though.

If he wasn't trying to go for a quick win or was trying to have fun playing with his friend... then why would he be running Exodia in the first place?
i always liked adding things like nimbles that way more cards are coming out of the deck , increasing chances of pulling what you want , and helps with defending at the same time
Turn 8 of round 1 you should have summoned Sangan, attacked with it (killing it), to add the last piece to your hand. You had life to spare. Main phase 2 play swords. Also, on turn 6 you should've set your waboku instead of discarding it. You had plenty of space in your spell/trap zone. You wasted what could've been plan b in case swords was MSTed. You could've won by turn 10 but you instead you blew the game.
yeah this guy is complete trash
I was surprised to see this guy uploads nothing but yugioh gameplay videos. Feels like this is one of the first duels he's ever done, and this is only a half-decent Exodia deck because he shoved 3 Sangans in there. Would be very weak if not for the Sangans.

I'm starting to believe he didn't know you can set Spell cards too. He did say multiple times he didn't know how to play the deck, but now I question his dueling experience in general. Also, better to play MR2 for duels like this. XYZs were used, but pendulums weren't.

Fun to watch! Cool to see the deck work and see you learn it! Haven't played this game in years, myself. One tip: Magic Planter can destroy your Obliterate!!!, and when Obliterate!!! goes to the Graveyard, it brings an Exodia piece from the Graveyard back to your hand, so that's one turn faster on the win!

I left the video as soon as I saw the player used two Cardcar Ds and had to discard at the end of the turn rather than setting the spell/trap cards. This video proves you still need skill (at least basic) in order to use a troll deck.

I think a technique you could have used was using the obliterate to get an exodia guy in the graveyard, and use an exodia guy on the battlefield to get him back to hand.you'd proc twice a turn, and you've got enough stall to get two procs a time

You need the Exodia card that isn't effected by spells, trap guards or monster damage depending on which exodia pieces you have in the graveyard, that'd help a lot while you're trying to get all the pieces to your hand and save your life points.

Using an old-school exodia deck, pre XYZ-monsters, one of the best strats is to just shuffle the pieces back into the deck, then just use the whole deck to cycle through to the last 5 cards, then just drawing them in one turn. Its much moe reliable, but I am no so familiar with cards after the pendulum release, so there might be a better Exodia deck archtype with newer cards.

Agreed. Most expedia decks run all three ofs of cards like pot of duality and reckless greed along with desires and an upstart. Exodia decks should have a clear gym potential instead of stall. And even if this was a good deck he is just a honestly terrible player
actually Incarnate deck is a very good win cue he can either use the win condition or have an unstoppable 5k attack beast to win, but dude he was using it VERY badly
4:22- Exodia finally in hand, but opponent has stuff to make stuff go away if requirements aren't met.
11:55- Exodia's head is sacked to survive black dragon's effects.
13:10- Clear game. rematch
22:03- Exodia leg, head, arm in hand; sacked leg to graveyard immediately.
25:00- Got the leg back again
26:30- Necro'ed Exodia parts back into hand. Complete Exodia
26:52- Clear game. rematch
33:00- Complete Exodia in graveyard.
35:00- head, 2 arms in hand
35:47- head, 2 arms, left leg in hand
37:11- Complete Exodia in hand.
That's the worst Exodia deck I've ever seen. You can make a 1-turn exodia deck easily....
It's a surprise Exodia that's so surprising that he guessed it before it even came out.

i havent played yugioh since... well... when pot of greed,monster reborn, and change of heart werent banned. So i was looking to build an Exodia Deck for nostalgic reasons.
what would be a solid exodia deck list i could use? I want to be "that guy" when going into tournys. Oh how i miss those days

Actually, take his current deck and probably just slot in the usual toon table of contents package over spiritual swords. The deck isn't that bad. He really needed to use the Pots earlier though, and Hand Destructions.
One of the major misplays in that game was him not using Incarnate's effects. If you get Incarnate and Obliterate, you pretty much win in 2 turns. Just use Obliterate both on your and opponent's turns to thin the pieces and Mass Producction/Incarnate effect to win.
It’s like I can’t use my irl deck because 1 it has 2 of monster reborn and 2 it has giant trunade which is banned and a few other cards aswell [ I could just remove the 4 or 6 cards but then it wouldn’t be the same deck]
For anyone who doesn't like this Exodia deck, check out my New Skystriker Exodia deck, its pretty insane!
For those who think Exodia Decks should win Turn One... I've never seen it done consistently... Anywhere...

Just to point out that The Legendary Exodia Incarnates ability is that when all 5 pieces are in the graveyard, you automatically win the duel. That's why it works so good with Obliterate! It means that you can win without all 5 pieces of The Forbidden One in your hand, but have them in your grave.

you would have won the game if you'd summoned sangan and attacked one of his monsters. Your sangan would have died. You would have called for a monster to be brought to your hand and boom. The final exodia piece.
It took twenty minutes for him to figure out that incarnate is BA.

So they actually changed that ruling since I played the game. Back when I played it didn't matter if you removed the Red Eyes Black Dragon once you cast Inferno Fire Blast the damage was going to happen if you didn't specifically negate the spell itself.
Not really a surprise when your opponent finds out what you're doing 5 minutes in and several matches earlier...
you do realise that destroying obliterate bring a piece from the grave. that's why the continuous trap destroyer is in there.

My troll exodia had a messenger of peace backed up by gravity bind till I backup soldier a spear cretin to the grave yard to end my turn. I could go thirty turns with the toughest deck in the place before revealing that I had exodia for the past several turns and wanted to see what would happen. Most popular and hated deck.

In the early days i faced a kid who had one of each exodia piece in his deck just to have them like most kids did and he drew all 5 in his first turn
