As an aside, my personal vote for the creepiest pokemon song is the gen 3 rendition of Viridian Forest, because there's a guy humming in the background and for some reason that always made me legitimately uneasy

Maybe it's because I first heard the less high-pitched gba version, but I've always kinda liked the Lavendar town theme. I find it sort of relaxing.
I personally really like the Gold/Silver rendition, also relaxing :3

This truly has been a truly spooky Spooky Finger Puppet Ghost Month, not because the stories are actually scary but because we’re getting regular uploads. Although it was pretty spooky how the author kept building up this story only to leave us with disappointment

The Gameboy sound chip did Lavender Town's theme dirty. I've heard arrangements of it using better instrumentation (for example, the one MOTI used for his lyrical cover), and it is a _really_ pretty song. ♥

I believe Misdreavus is the Pokémon equivalent of a banshee, but I doubt author considered that while writing Original Lavender Town Creepypasta #47535.
This story was written when the rest of the pokemon world was literally blocked off like in the first game.

I always love hearing you rip on these stories, it never gets old.
But someday it would be interesting if you read a creepypasta that isn't video game or anime related. There are so many that deserve your judgment that are hilariously bad and yet everyone thinks they're scary.
Something like 90% of R/Nosleep posts are one paragraph long stories where someone thinks their socially awkward roommate is a vampire or a bunch of teenagers finding a homeless person inside an abandoned building and running away terrified.

w.... what the cUNK was even that story? The only thing I can piece together is "IT WASN'T LAVENDER TOWN" was implying that the game wasn't causing any of this, it was something that was in protag's life all along. But other than that I agree with captainloser that this sounds like it was written by an AI. The semi-coherent mimicry of the language of a bunch of different creepypasta that... doesn't quite match the overall narrative checks out.
Just got through the story portion. I'm very confused, considering everything bad still seems to be happening in lavender town or due to going through lavender town. Still seems like it's at least partially the fault of lavender town.
I'm willing to fully blame the town, and every building in it. They were all in on it.

I assume you mean the first movie? I liked the armor looking suits, I didn't hate the movie. A lot of the fight scenes were pretty good, but the side plot with the kid and his dad and the ooze was dumb and I didn't care, and the cgi was horrific. Ninja Nightmare Zord.

It seems like these crappypastas have gotten progressively worse (as creepy pastas, not the good way) to the point I'm wondering if this was written by an AI. I'm leaning toward not, because I think an AI would not be able to generate a story this bad; I think you'd have to be a human with an astonishingly damaged psyche to write something this incoherent, uninteresting and badly paced. I hope whoever wrote this gets help because I think you'd have to be one small step above a vegetative state to come up with this.
