I wanna point out how delightful the couple in the haunted house clip was. They rolled with all of the punches very well, and were ride or die with one another throughout what must have been a terrifying scenario for both of them.

I work in a restaurant where I hate the clientele and I think this would be a great way to mess with them.

I think just like the extras in Tim and Eric, these are usually Craigslist actors who are given very little instruction/prep. They are essentially just reacting to whatever Nathan feeds them.
The fact it wasn’t scripted is why the show shutdown. It took forever to make the episodes and it’s also why the majority of his business ventures are done towards immigrants and ESL people. Easier to get away with the stuff because of barriers of language.
The guy asking why they would let someone with a deadly easily transmittable disease work at a haunted house and touch people is the funniest lol

It made me laugh extra hard when the hazmat suit guys show up. Its like obvious at that point they are playing it up cuz she was just allowed to walk around and work at a haunted house, but now that this girl has it its a national threat hahaha.

I’m genuinely curious what percentage of ghost believers actually believe vs those who don’t and find value in conning believers.
The moments where someone seriously says something absurd to Nathan and he's like "wait what?" are the best of the series.
11:24 Love Nathan's physical comedy. Sue keeps taking two steps away from Nathan and he just creeps right back and then in the last shot of the scene she's accepted defeat and is standing there arms crossed.
They ended up like 10 ft from where they started too 😂😂
Physical comedy, manipulation, and sketch writing. Nathan is unmatched. If these people are actors, it’s still genius, and they need major money roles for being so convincing.
@@XDWASDXif you watch his follow-up series, he hires many small actors off craigslist then lies to them about the premise. He had a fake wife that got tired of living with him and they had an argument on camera about the show itself.

It’s funny because it’s almost like a dystopian view of the state of altruistic policy in the US. Like the idea of having something with a readily contagious disease working in a close contact environment is so ridiculous that there has to be some policy that would enable it. I told a potential landlord that I prefered to rent a haunted property. I sort of liked the place, but they couldn't convince me that it was haunted. I ended up going with a place that was equally not haunted. But I didn't believe them. My wife was continually upset with me, and my cats refused to set foot in the place. This is exactly what I was looking for.
But it ended up being too expensive, which was kind of a selling point for me. But it wasn't one for the people that wanted more money than I was willing to pay.
