💝💝💝your Vlog this morning … it’s cooler and cloudy here in Ontario but I snuggled up with my Afghan and watched you go about part of your day … always a pleasure to see you Emma Thank you 😊💝🇨🇦
Oh those drying racks at the fire... with three children they are everywhere in the house here. We just took down the clothesline outside since it's very wet here. No crisp cold days yet... but rudbeckia! I sowed a new variety this year, hopefully it will flower next year. Finally, my 2 year old accidentally ripped out my socks (and broke the wooden needles 😢) but now I will reknit with metal needles and a tighter gauge. Thank you for all the nice content! ❤
A very enjoyable podcast ! Thank you ! Here in France we still have hot day but cold night. We can put sweater just during the morning, after it's too hot. Love your sock !
hi from Co - Down. I'm a bit late finding this podcast but it will be fun playing catch-up. Have been in your shop for a while though. Love the little jumper

Thank you, Emma! It’s a quiet, early morning here in Washington State, USA. I so enjoyed watching all that you shared! -your projects, your beautiful wools, the garden and outdoor projects, cooking, the little bits of life in your area. Lovely and inspiring!😊
Hi, Emma. I love your Spearhead sweater. Your garden is lovely. The shop looks busy! Your little girl’s sweater is cute… I love the colours. And it fits❤️❤
Oh, the Rudbeckia is beautiful! I haven't turned my heat on in Western Canada yet either! Sure wish I had a wood stove again. Just rinsing yarn I dyed with Avocado...I ❤ pink! Adorable sweater for the little one.
This was so relaxing to watch, thank you for the peek of your garden, I too always feel behind with garden chores at the beginning of fall. I really love your socks, they look so cozy, and the colors you have chosen are the best!
Thanks for sharing part of your life with us, it is inspiring and cozy to see. I think your house is gorgeous with all the many rooms, nooks and crannies 😊
Thank you so much Emma! It was lovely to spend the day with you. I love those green socks and would love to order the exact same colours if that’s possible!
I feel like a few years ago you and I had somewhat similar levels of gardening knowledge (could be wrong, I'd call myself an enthusiastic beginner), but since then it seems like you've learned a ton and your gardens are so gorgeous! I love how full and varied they are. As a new homeowner and fellow aspiring gardener, I'm curious if there's anything you found particularly helpful along the way. Did you read any specific gardening books or anything like that? Thanks for sharing, I always love your videos!
Thanks for sharing your day with us. Those DK socks look super cosy and perfect for autumn. Would be interested to know how to make them. Are you planning on putting out a paid pattern for them?
Hi, I just need a little info on your thick sock recipe.. it’s 44 stitches cast on. Hold the yarn double, is it sock or fingering. Then what size is the needle? I didn’t get it when you said the size. I love the socks. I have a lot of left overs that I could use up. Thanks for your recipe, I cannot wait to try it. Love your new studio also!
2.75mm needles, the Hearth Sock is 330m/100g so heavy fingering. If using Natural Sock that is 400m/100g or another classic fingering weight yarn try casting on 48sts with 2.75mm needles and going from there.
They are Trethorn…don’t know if I’d recommend though. They are good but have worn quite quickly to be honest. A decent enough waterproof boot but would have expected two years out of them
sweater is so cute on her:) And I am amazed with your dog, what a beauty, like from fairy tales.

The little sweater looked cozy on her. I am so glad to see that I am not the only person that love peanut butter and banana on toast 😊
Thank you Emma 🤎
Yay the sweater fits your daughter … She looks so cute in it!
Many thanks Emma for another relaxing flog👏👏

I love rudbeckia, Emma! I grew them at the farm when my husband and I were still there. THey're a beautiful autumn flower..

Such a great video! Cozy and lovely. :) Have a great day!
Loved joining you along your cosy day! When you were weaving-in ends, were you watching the latest Pairs Well With Knitting Podcast? 😉

The flower with the tall white spike is cimicifuga aka bloodroot. One of my faves its in full blooming glory here in Maine right now.

I would love to see the green sock set in the shop update! I've admired your work for a while and might have to take the plunge 😊
I would like to knit a sock in the colors you used.
Love getting the update on dying. So excited to see the Christmas colorways getting all worked up!

Nice socks.

This last year I got the Gardener's World magazine every mont, and watched it on TV. That's about it really!

Not planing on it but maybe I should!
Curious what the sock pattern is? Love the look of them, thought great gift knitting.
No pattern, I'm just making it up!
Would love to know what pattern you used for your little girls jumper 💕 it’s so sweet!
Kat and Leni Garter Stitch Baby I think it’s called!

Ever put a drizzle of honey on your peanut butter and banana sandwich?
Never. Is it mind blowing? It sounds like it would be!
What kind of boots are you wearing. I like them.😊

Do you use plants from your garden in your natural dyeing..?
Yes :)
