About the last one: I definitely agree that high-school relationships are not worth the time and effort. However if your parents are threatening to KICK YOU OUT of the house just for having a boyfriend, then something's definitely wrong with them 💀💀
no fr, personally I don't mind high-school relationships as long as y'all obviously put important shit first but to be kicked out over a relationship is outrageous. (side note: it's harder to date as an adult out of school imo. it's easier to find people to relate to in school than a job. so idk school dating isn't that bad if it isn't dangerous or something. hell I've had adults who even struggle making new friends. plus supremely harder to conversate with some stranger at like the Cafe or park, and you won't know much about how they behave because you're not trapped in the same building as them for 6+ hours to learn about them enough to even know you should date them. but that's just me I don't date for looks really, mainly if they're a decent human with clear boundaries and will also respect mine.)
@@OvergrownRoseBush Yeah I totally see your point, it's definitely true that in school you have more opportunities to learn about the other person and know them better. Which is why it might be easier for some to make friends or date in school, rather than as an adult in their job.
It really depends on how each person has their own way of connecting to others in the end.
Also, I'm glad we agree on the "getting kicked out for having a relationship" being outrageous, it really is unacceptable in my opinion.

also i definitely don't think that dating in high school is a bad idea at all, even if it doesnt last forever. that's because experiencing dating is essential for personality growth. its longevity aside, there are a lot of lessons to learn from relationships (again, as long as they know how to set their priorities right)

I personally think having a boyfriend before you go to college is important. Especially the experience of breaking up to separate before college. So many girls ik who’ve been “good girls” their whole life lost it freshman year bc they’re experiencing freedom for the first time

13:00 as someone who has seizures i can literally feel their pain. i had a seizure in only a towel. thankfully i was at home though. but i can only imagine the embarrassment of being in public. yikes. i hope that person is doing okay though.
Bruh when I had my first seizure I was with a complete stranger and fell face down into a bowl of marinated rice... really really slowly... mid conversation...

My whole family has them but me. And trust me when they hit we don't care how embarrassing you look we just want to keep you safe until it passes so please don't feel embarrassed. I've even drug my nude uncle off the bathroom floor when he had one and all I cared about was his safety and covering him so if people think it looks funny or laugh in anyway they're evil and don't deserve to be in your life.
My sister has them as well and then out of the blue I just woke up on the ground at my house. I was diagnosed but luckily mine aren't as frequent as I haven't had another. I feel bad for people who have epilepsy because I can relate. Feel bad for that girl.

I’d say it depends on each person since there’s ppl who can balance a relationship and academics, my mom always says to have your stuff together before getting into a relationship tho🤔🤔
In high school, you are going through your puberty obviously and your brain is still developing.
Throughout your school career from your first to your last year in school, you are a different person. I personally think you should find yourself first before attaching yourself to someone who doesn't even know who they are themselves.
If you like it or not one of the reasons you’re with each other is because of excessive hormones and curiosity. That’s how the body works.
Of course, I don't want to be that one person who says "oh that boy/girl is leading you off the path", but being with someone does distract you greatly from your studies and when you are in a high or low in that relationship you are going to feel very distracted from not only your family and friends, but also school.
At the end of the day, this is my opinion on the subject. I cannot say what everyone can or cannot do it ends up being a life lesson for everyone.
