He's a flex pick on WR, his role on mid is basically a fling bot, you just enable your team with roaming, but heavily dependant on the matchups (most mage and ranged champions counters singed mid) I would say he's a better mid pick than a top pick, I just play him top cause I don't like the mid playstyle If you're not building mana then yes, you should conserve his poison, and no, you don't need to turn it off on a teamfight.
