And yet people still deny this is happening. Water temperatures in the Golf are mid to high 80’s. 88 degrees for a majority of the Golf. Racing fuel for any storm that gets in there. I feel horrible for the people. Get out stay safe.
I lived in Cedar Key for a couple years and was there in 2012 for Hurricane Debbie. I didnt evacuate. I was renting a flat on the lower floor across the street from the Gulf of America. The sea water was 4 inches deep in my living room. I almost drownded. After that experience, I moved inland 90 miles. Surely we won't get Sea water here...
@@gregd6706 it was a deep 4" plus I slipped and hit my eye on the door knob and went down, and the water seemed really deep. I didn't panic but l couldn't breath and I freaked out a little. I wasn't scared tho. I was just a little concerned because I can't swim and I don't float either. To hell with that beach house. I moved out.
We love Cedar Key, have spent some wonderful vacation time there. Stay safe, everyone.
Any relation to the Mobley's from Midland MI?

I love that little town. I’ve gone there to fish many many times. Sad for the way this is likely about to devastate that place

Cedar key another Sanibel Island? 😢
God ☦️ 🇷🇺 🙏 forbid that Cedar Key, would be outside the zone of protection.....
Rich people pay back. 😊
Cedar Key is not nearly as wealthy as Sanibel. It isn’t the 1920’s.
