Woops! at 11:57 of the video, I accidentally overlapped the text, it reads : if you plan to weight paint it, choose empty groups and follow what i do, sorry! Also when deleting the rig select it, right click and then hover onto parent and press clear and keep transformation, select the rig again and press x!
Tyy it helped alot (EDIT: if this helps editing if when editing if you press Z and press material preview you can see the texture while editing i find being able to see the texture very helpful :3)
I'm sorry for this, but after making them all the same shade of gray, you should ALSO gradient map it to the color you want, for example, the blonde in your vid should've been gradient mapped with a kind of pink orange, paste yellow and white with just a bit yellow.

you might've picked the wrong file type or the files you have aren't the right type there are websites that can change files if that's the problem you have

You can rip it out of the game files by using asset studio! I recommend watching a tutorial since its a bit confusing, hope this helps! ❤
