What a treat - a wonderful painting. Thanks for making my evening. Also, thanks for reminding me that you have brushes for sale on your site - I need some.
Hello Elizabeth, I found your channel just yesterday and I must say I really enjoyed this video. New subscriber here. I would however like to know a few details, as I'm new to oil painting. I have been using watercolours since getting into art, tried oil painting around that time as well but failed. Hence, I'm trying my hand at it again because I love the vintage look it gives. Do you mix your oil paints with any substance before painting? Or do you use the paints straight out of the tubes? What brand oil paints do you use? I tried searching for the surface you mentioned that you're painting on, however could not find it on Amazon. Can you type the name or provide a link please? You also mentioned solvent and medium, what exactly do you use those for? Thanks in advance.
So glad you found my channel. I have lots of videos on my Inspired to Paint online art course site. There a video on all my supplies and surfaces. Here's the link. Scroll down to watch the materials video and see a materials link. inspiredtopaint.com/elizabeth-robbins-bio/

Are there any questions. From the video, you don't use Alizaza Crimson?
I do use Liz and Crimson. I have a full materials list and video on my inspired to paint site. Http://inspiredtopaint.com
That was supposed to say alizarin Crimson

I don’t know what you mean by a straight edge for the bread. The bread is situated at an angle so is the cheese so why would there be a straight edge
