Seriously, you couldn't find anything more exciting than to spend all this time in one central spot looking at trains. I love trains, but I wanted to discover more of Belleville, not 9 minutes looking at trains.
@1:55 I may be wrong but wasn't the Belleville Amtrak stop on this curve? I just remember as a kid going by there in a car and seeing a bus stop like shelter with the Amtrak logo on it. The only train that stopped there was the River Cities though so I never saw it in use.
I moved to Belleville in 2011 and moved away in 2016 I loved that town with all the NS and CN trains I saw
I love these videos
I know where that is
Amtrak had a small depot right past that curve, with a small parking area and a waiting area. It was only there for a couple years.
You are correct. The train came through Bellevulle Eastbound, every night around 9:45, if memory serves me well.
I hated trying to cross these, they weren't supposed to be this long but the impatient workers didn't care
ugh, not what I was hoping for. I think the title freight trains of Belleville would be more appropriate .
missed the old Southern RR days 😢
