Amazing to see some more "TV Guide Channel" footage from the early '00s. I still remember the "90 Second Life Story" segment with every Hollywood star from a recent movie that's playing on Pay-Per-View. That one with "Samuel L. Jackson" is totally memorable! I still miss "Prevue", "Sneak Prevue", "The Barker: PPV" and of course, "TV Guide Channel".
I remember the old tv guide channel especially from Southern Oklahoma where i live back in the 80's and 90's Thank You and have a very beautiful Merry Christmas Meredith. 💖🇺🇲📺🇺🇲📺🇺🇲💖
I have a tape recorded by my Dad that has a partial recording of Dark Angel and most of NYPD Blue from this exact day. Pretty cool to have this guide recording because it confirms what shows were on FOX and ABC even though I live in the Central Time Zone area which is about 1 hour behind.
Very fond of these old videos of TV guide preview guide channel and it's showing commercials for businesses in my hometown of Rockland county how cool is that I move 12 years ago to North Carolina LOL
A) The weather location was given as "0"? o_O B) I believe the first 15 seconds of the music looping during the interstitial slides was the result of a bug in the Hollywood software. C) 9:55 - Ohh, if you want it to be possessive, it's just I-T-S... (also "Effect" instead of Affect at 2:25)
Cartoon Network Schedule (February 6, 2001) 8:30 PM - Dexter’s Laboratory 9:00 PM - Bugs and Daffy 9:30 PM - Tom and Jerry 10:00 PM - The Flintstones 10:30 PM - The Scooby Doo Show (Since Tv Guide channel actually showing Scooby Doo Where Are You at 10:30 pm is actually aired before Johnny Bravo at 7 pm) 11:00 PM - Cow and Chicken
I think the reason why TV guide actually advertising shows that should come on Cartoon Network in early February 2001 is because I bought a home recording with one of these shows from a day before. Wow. We don’t even stream like nowadays. Mmhmm.
What a coincidence. My cable system was Cablevision of Oakland, NJ. This must’ve been a different system because that cable system for decades has had WNJN on channel 8.

This was recorded five days before my little sister’s first birthday. She’s twenty three now.

Question: What cable provider did this come from, may I ask? Just very curious and interested to know. Thanks.
