Not nice. On the other hand, if U don't take a step of faith, U'll never know if it could have worked out. Unless U took a step of faith & told the other person where U stood, U wouldnt have known if the other person was in love with U too. Then U'd both be apart, secretly pining for each other but thinking the other person doesnt view U like that. Only for the other person to move on because they didnt think U felt that way about them either. Im not advocating a romantic relationship between best friends if one party is married or engaged or in a relationship. The best U can do is respect their relationship if U truly love them, want the best friend to continue being the decent person U know said person to be, not be an accessory to cheating, if that person really wanted U, they'd make the choice.
