Yeah for sure...it’s so nice now. Even in 2008 to 2010 it was nearly impossible to find any info on armwrestling..there were some paper pools you could buy from publishers and maybe one or two videos available.
Or learn to flop press and balloon up to 350 pounds. Jerry Cadorette is a top roller's worst nightmare. I think he's got something like 15-2 winning record vs Travis.
What a king! Bob generously gives us tips on how to become a better armwrestler, unlike any other veteran armwrestler... (some of em do but Bob provides the most knowledge and answers most quests).

it's a smart move in theory, but only works if you have the finger strength to contain them. Someone with very strong back pressure will be nearly impossible to contain with your fingers. And in the strap your wrist will just buckle. but like you said, requires tremendous strength to pull off.
So training wise, the key seems to be, basically do rows with a wrist wrench and/or multispinner aligned to the Side pressure with wrist wrench would also help, but the finger contain and lat drag connection sounds like the key to stopping a high posting toproll before it can get it started.
Laletin tried to exercise, that dropping wrist strategy on Levan, and top rolling him , the best was first round, even thou Engin was saying in his recent interview with Devon that Levan was trying to meet LAletin up top , or something of that genre in first round and that is why his wrist cracked back .
Good in theory but in practice that really dont happens. Longers arms will always have advantage of keeping that uppressure all the time while the shorter arm depends exclusively on how much the ref lower the bigger arm . in short smaller arms are doomed and depends on the refs jobs while longer arms depends on his leverage. Agree? Nothing but a strong press to beat that mtfuckers with huge arms
Hey bob love your channel have a question..is it normal after few months of arm training to get growth spurt types of pain in elbow joints and shoulders?
Pain in shoulder and joints is absolutely normal for a long time as Armwrestling is not a natural movement of either. Just be careful to not over do it. Allow both to heal between hard sessions of pulling.
But you have to be able to curl your wrist in, which is easier said than done when someone is just going straight back as high as possible, specially in a strap, given youre of relative equal overall strenght.
Oh yeah, sinking a hook is probably THE MOST effect counter. The problem is sinking it in the first place, which basically amounts to "goodluck, champ."
I hope young arm wrestlers appreciate the volumes of knowledge available to them. Wish I was 18 right now.
How old are u?

Great advice sir! I Couldn't agree more. Always great content!
Good stuff 😊
Wow thx
get your shoulder behind your arm and enjoy free win
I would prefer low hand post n drag him back pressure

Thanks for answering question Bob! Can you go over the difference between the high hook and low hand top roll next??
whats the counter of someone like vitaly the same thing?
Nice, I think the same but I think in addition there is a side pressure into hook counter as well, thx Bob

Worst feeling in arm wrestling when somebody has a really good knuckles high posting toproll you can’t get around
💪
I feel you shouldn't be fighting his back pressure but rather his pronation, since when that's compromised he has no post.
The way said Bagent made me chuckle. Great video Bob, really loving your channel
Legend man! Never tought about that. Crazyy!!
The key to do a high posting top roll is have a good back pressure and also a good "pressure oponents fingers" setup, right?
please do a video explaining how to arrange small tournaments
i learned from travis

Yeah u need a good press or flop if u can’t hook. Which u should be working on if u have short or average forearms
Very good and much needed explanation.

🤔🤔🤔
i'd say that a hook (especially with a long arm), is a great counter against that posting style.
