In Kizomba there is no such thing as "Kizomba Lady Styling", this is always claimed to sell workshops better. In Kizomba there is the "Ginga" for the woman!
If you know where Kizomba comes from, what the background is and why z. B. Angolian women have always used the ginga to carry loads on their heads, then you wouldn't tell such nonsense.

I have to disagree with you. There is styling in kizomba just as there is in bachata and salsa although it is a bit different. When dancing with a partner, it is how a woman can express her individuality. With a group of women, it is part of the choreography.

@ Well, I have to repeat that. Because then it is no longer Kizomba, but something else. Maybe Kizomba Fusion, or Urbankiz, that may be. But authentic Kizomba, as it is e.g. dancing in Lisbon is not. No one has ever styled anything in Angola or even danced any choreography related to kizomba. Why should they impress women when carrying their loads on their heads from one village to the next? Monkeys, tigers, snakes? These are things that have been added, especially the terms for them, because they sell better, of course. Then there is the fact that Bachata and especially Salsa have a completely different background. Because Kizomba is actually not a conventional dance as you know it. It is walked, or one dances the walk. In addition, if it is real, Kizomba has a very healing effect. This is exactly where Kizomba differs from all other dances, because it's not about dancing 100 figures, it's much more about connection. It is a pity that so many do not know and see this and that the workshops are only about how many figures are for sale, because that is what most customers put forward so that they can have an experience. That's what they think, but they would have a great experience if they could find the spirit for kizomba and finally let go of performing. The ladies would be very grateful to the Leaders.
