This was very good, thank you.
I’ve been reading the Course in a deeply contemplative way from the start - that’s the only way you can really understand it at all I think - but I’ve noticed that the more deeply I understand it, the slower I read it! To the point where I usually spend at least an hour on a shorter section.
And the meaning just gets more and more profound.
I think the issue with words is that in normal life we learn to process their meaning on a very superficial level, because there’s no need to do more than that. So we really have to train ourselves to slow down and seek the deep meaning of the ideas communicated by the words in the Course. Then they can become like gateways to a remembering of Truth, in the same way that art and music can.
Personally I find this impossible to do when listening to someone reading out the text or lessons, it needs to be absorbed at your own pace not someone else’s.

Again, so timely…I needed to be reminded of how little focus I apply to the lesson at times and how tolerant I am to mindless mind wandering during the day.
And on another point…I just love how you can both laugh with each other and not at each others unique quirkiness…onliness!
So thx for the great lesson and the wonderful demonstration of what it means to accept each other and join in joy and laughter. In gratitude always…

This is amazing, i typically think of meditation as a story character releasing the story. Now i also see it as a story character thinking only of their author.

@@tonydimegwu691 Hi Tony! You can order via our store at circleofa.org. I understand shipping is an issue so you can also check out the free app acimce.app (you can also download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play). On the app you can read, listen, and search the Complete and Annotated Edition of the Course. ♥️

just at that point about the paradox god does not know words and also says words are sacred. thankfully the course does have that variance because its a process we can study the course for a life time. But there are times our full attention needs pinning down developing grow roots. so we dont wonder too much and give up its not always easy going for the unseasoned student.

Ads are so distracting - ruins the whole video

We agree the ads are distracting but, unfortunately, that is outside of our control. RUclips determines what ads go where and when.

I completely agree! And I’ve found that investing a few dollars here and there for commercial free experiences, like RUclips Premium, are worth their weight in gold!
