Good pod Jackson. I was excited when the Rockets traded for AJ also, but after watching him in summer league that excitement quickly faded. I wish him the best, but he had no future here. I think the Rockets will use his contract as an expiring deal to use in trade. hopefully AJ can get his life together and return to the league with another team. every time I listen to Ime I am even more convince that we have the right coach to mature this young team. I love the news about Amen. I really believe this guy is a star in the making. I think it's going to be hard to keep him out of the starting lineup much longer. he is simply to talented. I still believe he is a swiss army knife and the Rockets will use him that way, but he has the talent to unseat one of the starters. I think the new pratice facility can help with players have plenty of room to work with coaches more one on one to grow their skill level and basketball IQ. it seems everything is progressing for the Rockets like I had hoped for.

I think the Rockets need to lock up Alpi with a contract so nobody can overpay for him and we have to match it. I'm not worried about anybody trying to sign Jalen to an expensive contract. No team is going to offer him anything.
Aint nobody about to overpay for an almost-All-Star coming off a major injury but you can bet your azz Green will have teams laying out contracts with bells and whistles.
We need to lock up Green ASAP. Im not worry about Al-P. I rather see how he's holding up after that injury and trade him.
Most non-Black players never come back the same after a big injury.

Green, who averaged 19 ppg last season behind a squad catered to Sengun' skillset who average just 2 points more than Green, sucks?

And when Sengun went out with an injury last season, the team finally catered to Green' skillset, and the whole team benefitted where Green averaged 27 ppg and the team went on a 10+ game winning streak.
Green is a keeper. Sengun need to DEFER or be traded. You dont build around Sengun. You build around Green/Cam/Reed.

Who is going to take AJ's spot if he leaves? Will Stone bring Victor Oladipo back for a third time? (JK) Will he bring in Landry Shamet for outside shooting? Ime could revive that guys career. Justin Holiday is out there too. Doug McDermott might be a nice mentor for Reed Sheppard. Bismack Byiombo might be good to have in practices.

If AJ really quits the game, then the Houston Rockets should call for an investigation of the Hawks bcos the Hawks must’ve gotten a sniff of what AJ was going to do and so decided to trade him quickly. You can now see why they accepted a late second round pick for AJ. It’s just me raising an eyebrow.
Right idea. Wrong team.. homie comes from a basketball family, so maybe he felt like the money wasn’t worth it in his particular situation.. there’s been a long list of players who don’t/ won’t play for the Rockets since 2017… coincidence, I think not.
