Glad you're feeling better and getting back on trail. I was wondering what had happened. I follow Roadrunner (Hiking Dancer) and Lil Chap as well. In fact, I just ask RR today if she had heard anything about you. She had mentioned your name a few days back so I thought she might know. Safe travels and Happy Trails!! :)

You need to be healthy to get through the whole trail. But even with the time off, you’re really not badly off schedule. There will be people starting the PCT in early May. It will make San Jacinto and the high Sierras much easier. You’ve got our strong support if you do it.

You are not the only one! I barely made it into Julien. Dehydrated for sure but also a weird sinusitis. There are quite a few of us suffering currently. The desert teaching us who is boss!

Glad to hear your on the mend….was worried about you! I have asthma too and I most always get sick when entering a new geographic area…different allergens etc. the key is to use that albuterol before the change and periodically while in a new area. Hope you feel 100 percent soon. Look forward to your return hike! Thanks for the update.

I'm glad you feel better. We've been worried about you. If you back off and do the PCT next year, we'll still watch. If you do short hikes to adjust to the climate, we'll still watch. You have a fanbase and I am proud of you.

Wishing you the best, God Speed on your recovery. Food for thought, the PCT will be there next year, take a year to recover and get back in shape and crush it in 2025. 🤙🏽

Have been worried about you, glad you uploaded a stream for us. As a fellow Georgian, I'm invested. Take care of yourself. Crazy how the sand and dust affects you out there, kind of like our pollen affects everyone in Georgia.

I did a section last year September-October and got what sounds like the same exact thing you got. I got mine around Wrightwood. It seemed like it took me months to get rid of it. So weird.

By the time you're feeling better, you can go back to San Jacinto area. Much of the snow should be melted soon. There are plenty of people to meet and hike with.

Your skin/complexion looks better.. The inhaler is great idea, LMNT electro's, and remember the altitude is a lot different ... that is a lot of weight to carry, means your heart has to work twice as hard as someone 150 lbs.. some of that water in those cisterns is sketchy, and I doubt a sawyer type filter kills virus. When drinking that type of water perhaps have iodine tabs for use ... Hope you get back to trail and are able to continue... your vlogs are the best.
