With just a few inputs, Sheik can transform from a solid top tier character to one of the worst characters in the game.
While this is often used to disrespect their opponent, Sheik players will also switch to Zelda when they are too far from the stage to recover with Sheik's Up-B, since Zelda's recovery goes much further than Sheik's.
This can lead to some of the most exciting and unexpected comebacks in close games when a Sheik player uses Zelda to recover, and makes it back to the stage but doesn't have time to transform back, forcing them to try to clutch the match out as Zelda.
So here is another episode showcasing the best mid-game Zelda transformations!

It's been tested, the Zelda Lightning Kick is stronger in both damage and knockback than the Knee of Justice.

Erick Hoch Zelda was top tier in the earliest Melee tier lists for exactly that reason. People would just short hop double bair or fair with her until people figured out how to get around it.

Anyone else realize GRSmash's "Bonus Clip" is really actually just could be included as a normal clip in the rotation, however he does this to play a psychological trick on our mind to keep coming back for more and that extra.

The fill lines on laundry detergent caps are 20% higher than they need to be

Honestly if you use Zelda as a glass cannon finisher-type deal, then she's not too bad. Knowing that just about all of her attacks could kill you post-100% and being post-100% really changes the way you think mid-fight. Having to spontaneously change your mentality from "i can survive most hits" to "i will be killed by most hits" is really big.

Her frame data and hitbox placement suck tho. Every aspect of her character would need massive changes to make her decent lol
yh i know, i just meant in terms of switching to zelda for certain situations rather than switching as emergency recovery and then not being able to switch back because it's unsafe. i think i heard before that the original design philosophy when they made the character was that shiek should do the damage and zelda finishes them off, the character would be way more hype if this was actually the case
Face Melter it’s sad how even three games later in ultimate she has the exact same problems. They really just need to buff her hitboxes and frame data or just completely redesign her, which I’m honestly in more favor of. Two Knees of Justice is a neat thing to have in theory, but holy crap are they awful in execution when she also has 0 other tools to space or play neutral with and the hitboxes for those knees, or kicks rather, are just so atrocious.
