A horror story for Christmas. Mr Braxton violates a sacred grove when he takes a young tree from it. Should have realised Lucky's Grove wasn't exactly Lucky's. H R Wakefield's classic tale.

A great story. Remembered this from my youth, from one of those' Pan' short horror stories books that were soooo common then. Short stories have died, I think.
